Dark Sea Throne

Jiang Chuan and Pyke slowly approached the outside of the casino. A line of people were squatting outside with their heads in their hands, much like a crackdown on vice and illegal activities on Earth. Jiang Chuan threw Jones's head on the ground and said, "Send out the highest-ranking person among you." A man in his thirties stood up and said, "My name is Will. I manage the finances for the Iron Anchor Gang."

Jiang Chuan chuckled, "You're exactly who I'm looking for. Tell me everything about the Iron Anchor Gang's assets. If there's even the slightest inaccuracy, your head will roll."

Pyke, brandishing his trident and sizing up Will, made Will's insides churn with fear. The man waving the trident before him was a notorious killer in Bilgewater, someone who wouldn't hesitate to take a head. A threat of a rolling head meant a direct strike, not a graze on the shoulder!

Will cautiously stated, "The Iron Anchor Gang currently has eighty thousand Gold Coins and about five hundred firearms. Everyone except those out on missions or resting is here."

Jiang Chuan nodded. "Laurie, take men to move all the supplies. Leave three hundred men to guard this place. This casino is ours now!"

Laurie excitedly said to his subordinates, "What are you waiting for? The Chairman has spoken! Leave three hundred men on alert, the rest follow me!"

Jiang Chuan found a barrel and sat down, addressing the others. "We can't let our guard down yet. They'll definitely send people. Anyone caught dozing off and missing them will go to the deep sea to accompany Nautilus."

The men involved in this operation were all survivors from Jiang Chuan's previous conquest of Bloodfang Island. They had witnessed Nautilus's attitude towards Jiang Chuan firsthand. Nautilus was like a machine, absolutely obedient to Jiang Chuan's commands, without the slightest hint of defiance!

Jiang Chuan couldn't suppress his joy as he watched Laurie and his men carry out chests of Gold Coins. Indeed, plundering was the fastest way to get rich!

After Laurie and his men had moved all the goods out, he reported to Jiang Chuan, "Chairman, we didn't count the Gold Coins meticulously. We have three hundred Mauser Guns, four hundred muskets, seven boxes of bullets, and some miscellaneous items we couldn't identify, all categorized. We even found two cannons!"

Jiang Chuan waved his hand grandly and smiled, "We've achieved a great victory tonight! Each man will receive one Gold Coin as a bounty!" The crowd erupted in praise for Jiang Chuan's brilliance.

In reality, Jiang Chuan and his men had exploited a loophole in the Iron Anchor Gang's plans. The Iron Anchor Gang was planning to attack Bloodfang Island tomorrow, so many of their members were out relaxing tonight. Thus, only a few regular staff were present in the casino. If it were a normal time, it would have taken a long and bloody battle to determine the victor. Jiang Chuan estimated he would win, but it would be a pyrrhic victory, nothing as simple as this!

Jiang Chuan stood up. "Brothers, we took advantage of the Iron Anchor Gang's oversight tonight. They will surely send people for revenge later tonight. Let's work hard tonight and annihilate those scumbags completely!"

"The Chairman is right. Since we're here, my body hasn't even warmed up yet."

Laurie asked, "Then, Chairman, what is our goal?"

Jiang Chuan smiled, "Our goal is the stars and the sea!"

Laurie looked confused. "Chairman, what are the stars and the sea? Are we going to be pirates?"

Jiang Chuan said calmly, "It's just a metaphor. I will make our name resonate throughout Bilgewater."

Laurie scratched his head. "Chairman, I don't think we have a name yet."

Jiang Chuan's face darkened. "Our name is the Dark Sea Throne!"

Laurie and the others exchanged glances. Laurie said, "Chairman, won't this name be a bit too ostentatious?"

Jiang Chuan smacked Laurie on the back of the head. "Useless! If you're timid even when naming yourselves, how can you conquer Bilgewater? Pull yourselves together! The enemy might be here any moment!"

Jiang Chuan didn't continue fooling around with Laurie and the others. He took Donahue to the rooftop and said, "The most important thing for a sniper is to occupy the high ground. Only from a high position can you better observe the enemy."

Jiang Chuan took out the Hextech Rifle and handed it to Donahue, saying, "You'll use this gun from now on. I'll develop a specialized sniper rifle for you to use later."

Donahue took the Hextech Rifle and said, "President, I can't use such a precious firearm yet."

Jiang Chuan smiled, "Take it if I tell you to. Don't worry so much. You, Kelly, and the others are all my trusted confidants."

Donahue caressed the gun in his hand and said, "President, I won't let you down!"

Jiang Chuan patted his shoulder and said, "We're family, no need to say that. Get familiar with the gun first. I'll go check on other places."

After surveying the area, Jiang Chuan returned to the casino and waited quietly.

As expected, at three o'clock, Laurie came in and said, "President, they're here."

Jiang Chuan said calmly, "How many people in total?"

Laurie: "About six to seven hundred."

Jiang Chuan smiled, "When they enter range, everyone open fire. Show no mercy."

Before long, incessant gunfire erupted outside. Laurie came in and said, "President, the enemies are all dead. We have fifty wounded, but no deaths."

Jiang Chuan said calmly, "Good. After looting them, throw the bodies into the sea."

Jiang Chuan got up and walked out of the casino. Outside the defensive line, the ground was littered with corpses. Laurie and his men were busy. Jiang Chuan went to the wounded and said to them, "Send them to Old Jack's Clinic."

Jiang Chuan said to Laurie, "After you're done cleaning up, transport all the money and firearms to the island."

After giving instructions, Jiang Chuan followed the wounded to Old Jack's Clinic. After Old Jack arranged for the wounded, he began treatment. Jiang Chuan also helped Old Jack on the side.

Old Jack said while busy, "Roland, I heard you went to Demacia?"

Jiang Chuan nodded, "Yes, I spent six months on the ship."

Old Jack said, "You've taken over the Bloodfang Gang. What are your plans now?"

Jiang Chuan shrugged, "I plan to establish an organization called the Dark Sea Throne. I want to unify Bilgewater."

Old Jack frowned, "Unify Bilgewater? Do you really intend to do that?"

Jiang Chuan smiled, "It's not an impossible feat."

Old Jack said weakly, "It would be good if you could unify Bilgewater."

Jiang Chuan looked at Old Jack and said, "Move your clinic to the island. Your medical skills shouldn't be lost. You can be a teacher to the children."

Old Jack wiped the sweat from his brow and smiled, "Alright, living on the island would be good too."

The fifty wounded were no simple task. By the time they were all tended to, it was already the next morning. Jiang Chuan made breakfast and ate with Old Jack. After they finished, Old Jack went to rest.

Jiang Chuan went to Novia's tavern and chatted with her. Looking at Novia, Jiang Chuan smiled and said, "How is it? Jenny didn't cause you any trouble, did she?"

Novia smiled and replied, "She's a quick learner. I'm starting to wonder what your purpose is in training her."

Jiang Chuan took a sip of water and said with a smile, "That's for you to discover."

Novia gave Jiang Chuan an eye-roll and said, "I heard you take a few children with your subordinates for physical training every day, and you're also teaching those children to read and write. Last night, one of those children participated in the operation to wipe out the Iron Anchor Gang. He was an excellent sniper. Are you trying to build a loyal following?"

Jiang Chuan smiled and said, "Something like that. It's getting late, I have to go. I still have a mountain of things to do. I've integrated the Bloodfang Gang's resources and renamed it the Dark Sea Throne. I want to post an advertisement in your tavern."

Novia smiled and said, "Dark Sea Throne? That's a good name. What kind of advertisement do you want to post?"

Jiang Chuan smiled faintly and said, "Assassination. Anyone who can be found in Bilgewater can be killed. The specifics will be up to you. We'll split the proceeds fifty-fifty."
