Slut Ripper

Jiang Chuan carried a large stack of books from his office to the classroom. Seeing the children diligently listening to Old Jack teach, Jiang Chuan didn't disturb them. He walked out of the classroom and into Edmund's office. Jiang Chuan gave Edmund the books he had compiled: "These are the books I've written. From now on, the children's curriculum will be arranged according to these. This is a Chinese textbook, totaling twelve volumes. Each volume is for one semester, with two semesters per year. Six years of study are required for graduation."

After flipping through the books, Edmund said, "Guild Leader, right now it's just you and Jack teaching the children on the island. We're severely short-handed."

Jiang Chuan nodded. "How many children on the island are currently receiving education?"

Edmund took out a small notebook and said, "Guild Leader, there are currently one hundred and twenty children attending classes."

Jiang Chuan smiled. "This matter is easily resolved. Divide the children into two classes and use a shift system. Old Jack can teach one class in the morning, and you can teach one class in the afternoon. They won't interfere with each other, and you can arrange the teaching progress yourselves."

After considering Jiang Chuan's suggestion, Edmund clapped his hands. "Guild Leader, your method will work. I'll discuss it with Old Jack after class."

Jiang Chuan waved his hand. "You can discuss these things yourselves. I'll be going now."

Now that the children's learning progress was no longer a concern, and the island's construction had entered the right track, everything was proceeding according to plan. After handing over the island's affairs to Laurie and the others, Jiang Chuan decided to approach Sarah as a bounty hunter. "I won't be on the island for the next few months or even longer. I'll only be back once a month."

Old Jack took a bite of meat and asked, "What are you going to do this time? Are you getting into trouble with other gangs again?"

Jiang Chuan smiled. "I'm going out as a bounty hunter this time."

Old Jack said calmly, "Just be careful yourself."

Jiang Chuan poked at the food on his plate and said, "We'll be able to build steamships in the latter half of the year. Then you can go to Demacia to find your daughter. I have a cooperative project with the Crownguard Family in Demacia, so going there won't be much worse than here, perhaps even better."

Old Jack finished his meal, wiped his mouth, lit a cigar, and said, "Be careful in all things. I don't believe you're simply going out to be a bounty hunter."

Jiang Chuan wiped the oil from his mouth and said, "I'm leaving."

What method could be used to get close to Sarah and become her partner? It was simple: take on bounties together. The sooner he interacted with Sarah, the sooner he could find out the whereabouts of the World Rune. Jiang Chuan already had a series of plans for this...

Sarah was currently dealing with the Slut Ripper. Jiang Chuan just needed to find the Slut Ripper's lair in advance, kill her, and quietly wait for Sarah's arrival. As for what happened afterward, that would depend on fate.

Jiang Chuan recalled the official background story. The Slut Ripper's lair was in the corpse of a sea monster at the Slaughter Docks. This narrowed down the search area. The Slut Ripper was a ruthless killer, so he couldn't let his guard down. However, he wondered if she would be afraid of Void creatures.

Jiang Chuan set off lightly, with only a few silver coins on him. He leisurely walked to the place where bounty posters were posted. Most of the bounties had already been torn down by Sarah. The remaining ones were for small fry, not worth the effort.

Jiang Chuan smiled helplessly. "This Sarah really doesn't leave anyone any room to breathe."

Jiang Chuan strolled around and eventually arrived at the Slaughter Docks.

The bloody stench at the Slaughter Docks was always so strong, with the corpses of sea monsters and fish everywhere. Jiang Chuan searched slowly. Before long, he found a sea monster corpse that was abnormally large, its skin almost bursting. Jiang Chuan smiled faintly, "This is it."

Jiang Chuan snapped his fingers and summoned the monster Kog'Maw, saying with a laugh, "Let me see how powerful a creature from the Void truly is!"

After being summoned, Kog'Maw looked at Jiang Chuan. The acid dripping from its mouth landed on the ground with a corrosive sound and a foul odor. Yet, Kog'Maw just stared at Jiang Chuan. What kind of creature Kog'Maw was, perhaps even the Void itself didn't know. But Jiang Chuan felt their relationship was like that of a pet and its owner, much like the dog he had as a child, though that dog wasn't this ugly.

Jiang Chuan looked at Kog'Maw and said, "Go have a feast. I know you're hungry."

Kog'Maw uttered words Jiang Chuan didn't understand and ran towards the sea monster corpse in front of him. But Jiang Chuan could tell from its wagging tail that it was very happy...

Before long, Kog'Maw bit a gaping hole in the sea monster corpse in just a few bites. Jiang Chuan, with Kog'Maw, walked into the sea monster's corpse. Just as Jiang Chuan had thought, this was the Slut Ripper's lair. There wasn't a trace of blood smell here; instead, a faint fragrance wafted out. Jiang Chuan walked deeper, and the Slut Ripper lay on the bed, completely unaware of Jiang Chuan's arrival.

Jiang Chuan sat on a chair, Kog'Maw crouched at his feet. Jiang Chuan said, "Stop pretending. I don't believe the Slut Ripper would be completely unresponsive if someone entered her lair."

The Slut Ripper got up and looked at Jiang Chuan, completely unconcerned about her exposed state. She looked at Jiang Chuan and said, "You're not the only one who could find my nest. But no one who has entered my nest has yet been able to kill me."

Jiang Chuan chuckled, "I am the first person to kill you in your nest. Your head is worth quite a bit of money."

"Hahahaha, bounty hunter, you're too naive. You're currently sitting on a barrel of explosives."

Jiang Chuan shook his head and whistled at Kog'Maw. Kog'Maw spat out a glob of acid. The acid seemed to have eyes, landing precisely on the Slut Ripper's left hand. The corrosive acid quickly ate away at the Slut Ripper's left hand until only bone remained, and even the bone was slowly dissolving!

The Slut Ripper screamed and grabbed a nearby knife, hacking off her own hand to save the remaining half of her arm.

The Slut Ripper collapsed to the ground, her face pale. She looked at her hand, now a pool of corrosive acid on the floor, and broke out in a cold sweat.

Jiang Chuan said indifferently, "If it were a romantic evening, I'd be happy to discuss other life pleasures with you. But now, you'll probably be forever silenced within this half of a sea monster's corpse. How pitiful."

The Ripper trembled and said, "Even... if I die... I will... blow you up!"

Jiang Chuan watched quietly as she took out a flint and lit the fuse. The Slut Ripper roared ferociously, "What, scared speechless? Too late! Die!"

The fuse burned rapidly, and the smile on her face grew more and more ferocious. But the fuse didn't ignite the barrel of explosives under Jiang Chuan's seat as she had expected. Instead, it was doused and extinguished by Kog'Maw's saliva before it could reach the explosives.

Jiang Chuan waved at Kog'Maw. Kog'Maw spat another mouthful of acid onto the Slut Ripper's right hand. Her screams echoed in Jiang Chuan's ears. Jiang Chuan stood up and chopped off her right hand, saying, "I regret I can't give you a quick end. You'll have to bear with it yourself. Judging by the time, she should be here soon too."

Jiang Chuan then sat back down on the chair with the barrel of explosives, tossing meat scraps and fruit for Kog'Maw to eat, like playing fetch with a dog when he was a child.

The Slut Ripper looked at Jiang Chuan and said coldly, "Who exactly are you? At least let me know who killed me."

Jiang Chuan shook his head, "The one who killed you isn't me. It's you yourself. After mingling in Bilgewater for so long, don't you have the awareness of being killed? As for who I am, it's not important. I'm just a bounty hunter."

The Slut Ripper said nothing. She bit down on the poison sac under her tongue and committed suicide, unwilling to endure the pain and choosing to end it herself.

Jiang Chuan ignored her and continued to play with Kog'Maw.
