History

Na'er first appears as a lost, guarded silver-haired girl surrounded by traffickers. She refuses to answer their questions or follow their promises of food, keeping her head lowered in fear 4. Gu Chen takes her in, and she becomes the younger-sister figure closest to him 6 8.

Over the following months, Gu Chen teaches her close-quarters combat and the Heaven Mending Technique. Although he trusts her deeply, he deliberately withholds the Qilin Step as a final precaution 8.

After three years at Gu Chen's side, Na'er asks him to accompany her to the sea and quietly asks whether he would miss her if she had to leave. She ultimately departs because the Silver Dragon King's primary personality has ordered her away from Gu Chen and would kill him if Na'er remained beside him 19 20.

Three years later, she reunites with Gu Chen at Sea God Island as Yun Ming's direct disciple. Hurt that he did not explain himself, she cries openly before accepting his reassurance that they will have many opportunities to meet 95 96.

Na'er later recognizes that her old attraction to Tang Wulin originated from the Golden Dragon King essence in his body 170. During a sparring match, her supplemented bloodline erupts into a Nine-Colored Dragon form, prompting Gu Yue and Gu Chen to conclude that she has reached a new level rather than truly becoming the Dragon God 172.

Gu Chen eventually separates Gu Yuena, Gu Yue, and Na'er into independent existences. Na'er later resides among Gu Chen's wives in Origin Chaos Heaven and continues fighting with the Dragon God Spear 557 572 529.

Na'er is initially depicted as a small girl with long silver hair and purple eyes. Following her bloodline evolution, she develops a far more majestic dragon-like presence.

Personality

Na'er is intensely attached to Gu Chen. Her decision to leave him is not born from a lack of affection, but from fear that her continued presence will cause the Silver Dragon King's primary personality to kill him 19 20. Even after years apart, she immediately calls him “Brother” and is devastated by the thought that he may have abandoned her 95 96.

She can be possessive and competitive where Gu Yue is concerned. Na'er privately takes joy in Gu Chen seeking her out and regards Gu Yue as a rival for his affection 102.

In battle, she is direct and uncompromising. When Zhou Weiqing attempts to negotiate, she answers by raising the Dragon God Spear and attacking 529.
