Gu Yuena first enters the story under the name Gu Yue, arriving in Eastsea City and asking Gu Chen to guide her to Eastsea Academy. Gu Chen immediately recognizes her as the primary personality carrying the Silver Dragon King’s consciousness; their ancient bloodlines respond with intense resonance and hostility. Her initial purpose is tied to a wager with Na’er: winning would allow Na’er to return to her body and complete her personality. She also intends to obtain and assimilate the Purple Desolation Heaven-Extinguishing Dragon’s power, despite its near-incompatibility with the Golden and Silver Dragon King bloodlines 30.

Her early relationship with Gu Chen is shaped by mutual wariness. Both recognize that their bloodlines carry destructive instincts toward one another, while Gu Yue also participates in a three-way martial soul resonance with Gu Chen and Tang Wulin.
