Background / History

Tang Wulin awakened Blue Silver Grass on Martial Soul Awakening Day in Proud Arrival City. His Innate Soul Power was only level three, and the Spirit Transmitter regarded the martial soul as disappointing; Tang Wulin nevertheless left determined to continue forward under the encouragement of Tang Ziran. 1

By age eight, he was learning blacksmithing in a local workshop. Though his soul power was only level eight, his persistence and talent in forging distinguished him from other children with Blue Silver Grass. 10 At age nine, he entered Eastsea Academy as a level-eleven Plant-System Soul Master. 25

Tang Wulin joined the Butian Sect after Gu Chen urged him to recognize that his unusual physical strength and Blue Silver Grass were not ordinary. He became deeply grateful to the sect and committed himself to repaying its support. 42 66 His Golden Dragon King bloodline later erupted during a confrontation with Guang Long, producing a golden Dragon Mark and drawing the bloodlines of Gu Chen and Gu Yue into resonance. 44

Gu Chen eventually revealed that Tang Wulin was the biological son of Sea God Tang San and that the Golden Dragon King bloodline within him was one half of the Dragon God.
