Background / History

Initially, Spiritual Power was Jiang Yi's greatest flaw. While his physical fitness grew rapidly, his Spiritual Power did not improve naturally; it forced him to stop training from mental exhaustion and prevented him from safely absorbing a Ten Thousand Year Soul Ring despite having the body to endure one. 1

The initial fusion of talents shared among the three Jiang Yis corrected this defect, enabling his Spiritual Power and Life Force to grow. His first Spirit Ring further accelerated that growth to three times its previous rate. 6 23

Jiang Yi later sought the Ten Thousand Year Heart Soul Tree Crystal because the Heart Soul Tree could connect Life Force to Spiritual Power, replenishing the latter before it could be exhausted. The crystal fused into his Spirit Sea and created a miniature Heart Soul Tree, establishing the cyan-gold bond between the two energies. 37 38
