Power Progression

Cultivation-year figures vary between accounts; the chapters below do not describe a distinct breakthrough for every reported value.

Stage / Realm / Level Chapter Notes
Former divine-era strength: comparable to a Second-Class God 96 Di Tian recalls that, with Immortal Spiritual Qi, his strength as the Dragon God’s guard captain could be considered Second-Class God level. This describes his former power, not a present-world ascension.
800,000-year cultivation 10 Snow Empress identifies him as an eight-hundred-thousand-year Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King.
Approximately 890,000-year cultivation 26 27 The Far North encounter explicitly places him at 890,000 years. The Auspicious Beast previously describes him as having 900,000 years; no intervening breakthrough is shown 21.
Dragon God Claw enhanced with two Dragon Souls 72 74 Uses Essence Blood and the Soul-Guiding Seal to shelter the Fire and Water Dragon Kings within his claw. Retains the claw after returning from the Simulation World.
Dark Dragon King God King position — simulated future 168 169 A self-simulation predicts that, after raising Gu Yu into the Dragon God and rebuilding the Dragon God Realm, Di Tian becomes the Dragon God’s Imperial Teacher and inherits this position. It is not established as his present-world attainment.

Background / History

Di Tian fought his way through the Dragon Clan’s ruthless competition, standing out among ten thousand dragons to join the Dragon God Guard. He eventually became its captain and received divine techniques, including the Dragon God Claw, directly from the Dragon God 1 29 96.

Following the Dragon God Realm’s collapse, he obeyed the Dragon God’s final decree and escorted the Silver Dragon King to the Douluo Continent. He guarded her recovery while hoping that she would eventually become the Dragon God and restore their clan 2 169.

While the Silver Dragon King slept, Di Tian unified the Star Dou Great Forest and became the foremost of the Ten Great Beast Kings. Heavenly Tribulations forced him to restrain his cultivation rather than advance freely; he devoted much of his effort to mastering space instead 15 71 169.

His ambitions initially centered on restoring the Dragon Clan, rather than treating all soul beasts as his equals. His later technological and educational reforms mark a shift toward building a future for the wider Soul Beast Clan 207 259 260.

Appearance

  • Dragon form: An enormous black dragon capable of blotting out the sky, with golden eyes and lustrous, pitch-black scales. His released Soul Power can distort the surrounding space 1 100.
  • Human form: A remarkably handsome man who appears approximately thirty or forty years old, with distinctive golden eyes 1.
  • Clothing and hair: Usually wears black. During his Far North visit, he has a cold, resolute expression and long black hair reaching his heels 26.
  • Unsealed true form: During his confrontation with Qian Renxue, his Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King form is described with dark-golden scales and eyes resembling molten gold 264.

Personality

Di Tian is fiercely protective of those he considers his own. He regards the Three-Eyed Golden Lion as a daughter and initially believes she can live safely without striving for strength under his protection. Once simulations expose her possible fate, that affection becomes controlling: he restricts her movements, scolds her, and punishes her for choices she has not yet made 1 3 5.

His reverence for the Silver Dragon King is genuine, but not unconditional obedience. When she refuses to act on his warning about a newly appeared True Dragon, he decides to pursue his own plans without revealing the Simulator. Future routes that pit Gu Yu against her repeatedly test his loyalties 12 13 115.

The Simulator turns him into an increasingly calculating—and sometimes overconfident—strategist. He comes to value deception, intelligence, human alliances, and technology alongside brute strength. His enthusiasm for looting simulated worlds repeatedly exposes him to dangers he underestimated, yet his final confrontation with Tang San shows that he remains willing to sacrifice himself for the clan’s survival 38 58 96 259 265 316.

Abilities & Skills

Future Deduction Simulator

Function Applications and Limits
Future simulation Initially reveals the futures of characters connected to Di Tian, with simulation conditions linked to favorability. Early results are summaries rather than complete accounts 1 20.
Reorganize Manually refreshes an established route to reflect his interference. Without this function, earlier simulations may continue displaying an unchanged future 21.
Branch Line Unlocks characters connected to a simulated target once Di Tian understands that target sufficiently 21.
Transmigration Allows entry into a selected period of a past character’s simulated life without rewriting the present timeline. Initially grants three opportunities 68.
Entry restrictions Documented visits last one day, and his power may be adjusted to the simulated protagonist’s level. His dragon physique and spatial mastery can still give him an overwhelming advantage 69 98 142.
Persistent consequences His actions alter the simulated route: after he kills young Tang San, the restored Tang San remembers his attacker rather than beginning in an untouched world 74 78.
Asset transfer Can bring treasures into the present world. The system reports conflicts over transferred assets and failed reclamation attempts 74 144 156.
Version 3.0 Expands the available settings and permits observation of Qian Renxue’s past from an external perspective. Direct physical intervention is initially unavailable 201 204.
  • Di Tian keeps the Simulator secret, including from the Silver Dragon King and Gu Yu 12 26 187.
  • Simulated identities and successful future routes are possibilities, not proof that their outcomes have occurred in the present 115 169.
  • His manipulation of Qian Renxue through hallucinations backfires: she interprets the disturbances as divine trials and strengthens her resolve 260.

Spatial Manipulation

  • Tears open spatial rifts to travel between distant locations, including the Star Dou Great Forest, Far North, and Sun Moon Empire 15 113 187.
  • Immobilizes enemies through spatial pressure and invisible force fields 69 70.
  • Creates an Isolation Barrier that cuts off outside sound during private discussions 187.
  • His mastery has reached the present plane’s limit; the Simulator’s higher-order spatial vortex offers a possible avenue beyond that bottleneck 68.
  • Divine powers can still lock his body and consciousness. Escaping the Asura God’s restraint requires a desperate exertion of his will and true form 265.

Ultimate Darkness and Dragon Physique

  • Possesses the Golden-Eyed Black Dragon King race’s Ultimate Darkness attribute 15.
  • Retains extraordinary physical strength even when a simulation suppresses his Soul Power to young Tang San’s level 69 70.
  • Uses darkness and dragon claws to tear apart Qian Renxue’s miniature Angel Domain 264.
  • His normal present-world combat strength is described as comparable to a Limit Douluo 69.
  • Mortal-level superiority does not make him a god: Tang San explicitly treats him as a non-divine opponent during the final assault 315.

Dragon God Claw

  • A seven-colored power personally bestowed by the Dragon God, containing the Dragon God’s strength 72.
  • Defeated Xiong Jun with a single use, ending that attempt to seize the Beast God position 19.
  • Serves as a refuge for the Fire and Water Dragon Kings’ souls after Di Tian performs the Soul-Guiding Seal 72.
  • Is taught to Gu Yu; Di Tian later uses a restrained strike to test his disciple’s integration of Dragon God bloodline power 187.

Soul, Cultivation, and Transformation Techniques

  • Soul-Guiding Seal: A Dragon Clan secret technique used with Essence Blood to draw the two Dragon Kings’ souls into the Dragon God Claw 72.
  • Ice Silkworm exploitation: Previously cultivated by absorbing the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm’s vitality and Soul Power. Gu Yu develops an artificial version of this method in the Far North 17 27 42.
  • Transformation instruction: Enables the 20,000-year Heavenly Dragon Horse to rebuild herself as a human through her Radiant Sacred Dragon bloodline 37.
  • Dragon Soul ignition: Burns his Dragon Soul to power desperate attacks with the Dragon God Claw and Dragon King Claw in a simulated battle against Poseidon 101.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Life Gold: Possesses a large piece from which the Golden Hawksbill Turtle stole a fragment 15.
  • Spirit Bones: Uses the forest’s abundant Spirit Bones as purchasing resources, instructing Wan Yao Wang to buy rather than seize the Spirit-Devouring Carving Knife 42.
  • Immortal Herbs and seedlings: Brings herbs back from the simulated Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, rewards Wan Yao Wang, and establishes an herb garden under his care 72 74 207.
  • Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud / Heart of the Seagod: Gives the artifact to the Silver Dragon King to sever its connection with the Sea God; also acquires the Shroud during a later God Realm expedition 84 142.
  • Tang San’s hundred-thousand-year Soul Bones and Buddha Fury Tang Lotus: Loot taken from a simulated route. Di Tian considers using a Soul Bone to provoke conflict among human soul masters 84 100.
  • Asura Enforcer Badge: Acquired from Dai Yuhao and Tang Wutong and used to facilitate movement through the simulated God Realm 142 143.
  • Golden Dragon King’s God Core: Retrieved from the simulated God Realm and brought into the present. Its power subsequently appears within Gu Yu 156 157.
  • Seed of Destruction and Deity Relics: Resources he considers using to forge a new God Realm; he identifies the missing Seed of Life as an obstacle 164.
  • Angel God Position: Seized from Qian Renxue in the Simulation World. The theft alerts the Asura God and Sea God; it does not establish Di Tian as the present-world Angel God 264 265.
  • God Position Origin: His accumulated simulation harvest includes an origin containing dark-red and azure divine power. He transfers it to the Silver Dragon King during his final battle 316.

Relationships

  • Silver Dragon King / Gu Yuena — His revered “Lord,” whom he escorted to the Douluo Continent and guarded during her recovery. Their relationship becomes strained by his independent schemes, but he ultimately dies protecting her escape 1 12 169 316.
  • Gu Yu — His prized disciple and a potential successor to the Dragon God. Di Tian recruits him, provides the Auspicious Beast to support his cultivation, teaches him the Dragon God Claw, and advises him to remain inconspicuous for ten thousand years 27 29 187.
  • Three-Eyed Golden Lion / Di Yaoyao — A daughter figure whose predicted exploitation motivates his earliest interventions. His harsh restrictions and decision to leave her in the Far North provoke her resentment 1 29 38.
  • Bi Ji — A longstanding companion whose romantic feelings initially surprise him. Remembering the young soul beast who followed him and continued returning to his side makes him smile 21 22.
  • Zi Ji — A close companion with romantic feelings for him. She sacrifices herself to protect him and buy time during Tang San’s assault 131 201 316.
  • Wan Yao Wang — Intelligence gatherer, frequent errand-runner, attendant, and herb-garden manager. Initially resentful of Di Tian’s demands, he becomes more devoted after receiving Immortal Herbs 1 74 207 257.
  • Xiong Jun — A subordinate and recurrent challenger to his authority. Di Tian defeats him and sends him to the Clear Sky Sect to learn forging; Xiong Jun later hopes to use that craft to surpass him 19 40 113 269.
  • Chi Wang / Scarlet King — The Auspicious Beast’s guardian and a reluctant subject of Di Tian’s Soul Tool education program 1 204 207.
  • Snow Empress — Ruler of a separate territory outside Di Tian’s jurisdiction. Their dispute over Gu Yu ends in an agreement, with Gu Yu becoming his disciple while remaining in the Far North 26 27.
  • Golden Hawksbill Turtle — A Life Gold thief coerced into becoming the substitute “Wang Qiu’er” as part of Di Tian’s attempt to divert Tang San’s plans 15 33 42 188.
  • Tang San — His principal adversary, whose manipulation of the Auspicious Beast and pursuit of Dragon God power drive Di Tian’s counter-schemes. Tang San ultimately attacks the Star Dou Great Forest directly 14 15 315.
  • Fire and Water Dragon Kings — Elder dragons whom Di Tian addresses as uncle and aunt. He rescues their souls from the simulated Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well for Gu Yu’s benefit 68 72.
  • Golden Dragon King — Calls upon Di Tian for rescue in the simulated God Realm. Di Tian retrieves his core rather than saving his body, earning the dying king’s hatred 155 156 157.

Story Role / Major Arcs

Awakening the Simulator

  • Awakens beside Life Lake and receives a system capable of deducing the futures of people connected to him. His first targets are the Auspicious Beast and Silver Dragon King 1.
  • Initially orders Wan Yao Wang to investigate—and potentially kill—Huo Yuhao. A subsequent simulation predicts Wan Yao Wang’s death, prompting Di Tian to replace the attack order with covert observation 1 4.
  • Discovers that Tang Wutong’s connection to the Auspicious Beast is part of Tang San’s scheme to extract her fortune and bloodline 14 15.

Recruiting Gu Yu and Diverting Fate

  • After the Silver Dragon King dismisses his warning, independently searches for the True Dragon Gu Yu 12 13.
  • Finds Gu Yu under Snow Empress’s protection. His eagerness nearly causes a fight, but negotiations result in Gu Yu accepting him as master 26 27.
  • Leaves the Auspicious Beast in the Far North and prepares substitute soul beasts to occupy the roles of Wang Qiu’er and Wang Chun’er 29 188.
  • Uses Reorganize to confirm that the Auspicious Beast’s future identities have changed: “Wang Qiu’er” and “Tang Wutong” disappear, replaced by “Di Yaoyao” 38.

Raiding Simulated Worlds

  • Unlocks Transmigration and attacks young Tang San at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well 68 69.
  • Learns unsettling truths about the Dragon Clan’s downfall, rescues the Fire and Water Dragon Kings’ souls, and returns with Immortal Herbs 71 72 74.
  • Raids the simulated God Realm for treasures and divine resources, using disguises and the Asura Enforcer Badge to navigate its political upheaval 142 143 154.
  • Brings the Golden Dragon King’s core into the present, unexpectedly supplying Gu Yu with its power 156 157.
  • Steals Qian Renxue’s shattered divine position, narrowly escapes the Asura God, and leaves the simulated forest’s inhabitants to face the resulting investigation 262 264 265 266.

Modernizing the Star Dou Great Forest

  • Sends Xiong Jun to learn forging after a simulation predicts that Four-Word Battle Armor could substantially increase soul beasts’ combat strength 113 115.
  • Establishes an Immortal Herb Garden and imposes human-academy-style Soul Tool lessons, homework, night study, and increasingly rigorous tests on Chi Wang 207 212.
  • Receives support from Gu Yu, who studies Soul Tools and acts as an arms dealer for him 212.
  • As Long Tian, offers rare beast materials to the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Sect in exchange for assistance purchasing advanced Soul Tools. His broader aim is to use its commercial network for smuggling, intelligence, and access to the human world 257 259.

Final Assault on Life Lake

  • Tang San descends in his true body after discovering interference with his long-term plans. He confronts Di Tian and attacks the forest’s soul beasts 315.
  • Mortally wounded by the Seagod Trident, Di Tian strips the accumulated God Position Origin from his chest and gives it to the Silver Dragon King 316.
  • Following Zi Ji’s sacrifice, detonates his remaining power to disrupt spatial coordinates and obstruct pursuit. The explosion destroys the Core Area of Life Lake, leaving an enduring deathly forbidden zone 316.

Notable Quotes

“I have a dream, and that is to recast the glory of the Dragon Clan, allowing me to roam the universe to my heart’s content!” 1

“It seems that since The Lord will not listen to my advice, I have no choice but to take action myself.” 13

“The Lord! Catch this!!!” 316

Trivia

  • The Ecological Battleship is a predicted fate, not his established present form. Di Tian repeatedly objects to a future in which his body becomes a spaceship despite his efforts for the clan. A later self-simulation instead offers the Dark Dragon King route 55 113 131 169.
  • Gu Yu suspects he may be reborn. Di Tian’s advance knowledge and unexpected decision to train Xiong Jun in forging prompt this suspicion; Di Tian conceals that the information comes from the Simulator 187.
  • His human alliances are pragmatic, not a rejection of his clan. He explicitly concludes that clinging to past glory without adapting would leave the soul beasts helpless against the future 259.
