Within the Chakra Meridian System of the human body, there are eight acupoints that restrict the flow and speed of chakra. They are known as the Gate of Opening, Gate of Healing, Gate of Life, Gate of Pain, Gate of Limit, Gate of View, Gate of Wonder, and the Gate of Death!

These eight gates normally restrict the flow and speed of chakra. Once the Eight Inner Gates Formation is opened, the speed and volume of chakra surge wildly, granting power dozens of times greater than normal, even surpassing the limits of humanity. This is the Eight Inner Gates Formation!

Take Might Duy as an example. Before opening the eight gates, he fought with nothing but passion and was mocked as an eternal Genin. After opening the eight gates, Might Duy fought with the power of a hydroelectric dam!

Shennong was fortunate. While developing his forbidden Body Activation technique, he discovered these eight chakra-restricting acupoints within his own Chakra Meridian System!

Shennong then realized that although the Eight Inner Gates Formation was powerful, it lacked any technical complexity. As long as one trained their physical body to be sufficiently strong, resilient, and monstrous, they could use chakra to force open these acupoints and obtain power far exceeding their normal limits!

However, the Eight Inner Gates Formation also has massive flaws. First, the gates cannot be opened permanently. Second, after the technique ends, one suffers varying degrees of physical exhaustion. Third, and the greatest flaw of all, is that opening all eight gates results in certain death!

Yet, even with so many flaws, the Eight Inner Gates Formation remains the strongest taijutsu in the shinobi world, bar none!

Unfortunately, even as the strongest taijutsu in the world, it was far from enough to support Shennong's ambition to take revenge on Konoha.

Ever since the Sky Ninja Village was defeated and destroyed by Konoha during the Second Shinobi World War, Shennong had been keeping the surviving Sky Ninja hidden in the shadows to develop and accumulate strength, while he himself lived under an alias, frantically improving his own power.

Shennong developed the forbidden Body Activation technique and mastered the Eight Inner Gates Formation, becoming stronger and stronger. But Konoha was stronger still!

There was Hiruzen Sarutobi, hailed as the strongest Naruto; the legendary Sannin in their prime; the strongest Anbu in the world; and the powerful shinobi clans of the world, such as the Uchiha, Hyuga, Nara, and Akimichi!

As for the Sky Ninja, it seemed they could only rely on Shennong himself.

Faced with such immense resistance and pressure, would Shennong give up?

Of course not!

He would improve all three flaws of the Eight Inner Gates Formation!

He would make it so the Eight Inner Gates Formation could be opened permanently!

He would open all eight gates at once and not die!

He would destroy Konoha with his own hands and make Hiruzen Sarutobi sit amidst the ruins of Konoha, weeping in agony!

He would make the Sannin and those so-called noble clans hide and scramble like stray dogs, gasping for their last breaths!

Shennong wanted the shinobi of Konoha to taste every bit of suffering the Sky Ninja had endured over these years!

And so, Shennong appeared here.

In any experiment, data is the key. If Shennong wanted to improve the three flaws of the Eight Inner Gates Formation, he had to have sufficient data to support it. As far as he knew, the only shinobi in the world who practiced the Eight Inner Gates Formation was Might Duy!

Therefore, Shennong had spent all this time and energy getting close to Might Duy just to obtain his physical data.

However, obtaining the complete physical data of a taijutsu specialist without raising suspicion could not be done with a single cursory examination. Thus, Shennong needed a legitimate reason to constantly "touch" Might Duy's body!

"Doctor Shennong, is there something wrong with my body?"

The voice of Might Duy interrupted Shennong's recollections.

"Yes, there are indeed some hidden injuries. They are the result of your years of long-term training. But don't worry, I will give you a prescription for a medicinal bath. If you soak in it once a day and then let me massage and realign your muscles, you can eliminate these hidden injuries in a month."

Shennong smiled.

"Thank you so much, Doctor Shennong!"

Might Duy rose from the sofa, bowed solemnly to him, and then asked with some embarrassment, "Doctor Shennong, is the prescription for the medicinal bath expensive?"

His family's finances were limited; if it were too costly, he would have to...

Shennong waved his hand with a smile and said, "Rest assured, it's just some inexpensive herbs. I will bring them over later. You don't need to worry about it, Duy."

In order to obtain Might Duy's physical data, Shennong didn't mind taking a small loss or spending a little money at all.

Hanfu chimed in from the side to make his presence felt, simultaneously handing the backpack in his hand to Shennong.

Shennong took it nonchalantly and placed it on the floor.

Hanfu felt a jolt in his heart: So casual? Could it be that the Body Activation Scroll isn't in the backpack?

While Hanfu was lost in his wild thoughts, Shennong began to teach Might Duy the Bandage Technique step by step.

However, given Might Duy's talent, mastering the perfect-level Bandage Treatment Technique was likely not something that could be done in a day or two.

"Doctor Shennong, can I learn this too?"

Hanfu, who was standing to the side, snapped back to reality and immediately called out.

"Hm?"

Shennong was taken aback, then nodded. "Of course you can."

"Thank you!"

Hanfu thanked him excitedly, then began to learn it, deliberately acting clumsy.

Hanfu had already collected the Bandage Treatment Technique. The reason he still wanted to learn it was twofold: first, Hanfu would inevitably display the perfect-level Bandage Treatment Technique in the future. If anyone questioned him then, he could say he learned it from Doctor Shennong, with Might Duy as his witness.

Secondly, Shennong had just said he would be massaging Might Duy's back for a month. If Hanfu wanted to keep coming into contact with Shennong, he naturally needed a legitimate excuse!

A burst of rapid panting suddenly came from outside the door, and then a young man wearing a green skin-tight combat suit walked in, stumbling and drenched in sweat.

It was Might Guy, who had been training for the better part of the morning!

"Dad, Doctor Shennong, and... who are you?"

Although Guy was so exhausted he could barely catch his breath, he remained very polite.

"My name is Gekko Hayate. Nice to meet you!"

Hayate hurriedly put down the bandages in his hand and introduced himself earnestly.

After all, standing right before him was the Blue Beast of Konoha, Might Guy—the man who nearly kicked his way to the series finale!

"Gekko Hayate? H-hello."

After entering the room, Guy grabbed a glass of water from the living room and downed it in one go: "Gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp, gulp..."

"Doctor Shennong, please check Guy as well!"

Might Duy stood up and bowed to Shennong again.

"Of course."

Shennong smiled. To him, these were trivial matters; as long as it helped Might Duy trust him more, he was more than happy to do it!

Hearing Shennong's words, Guy immediately put down the glass, his blood boiling with passion as he thanked him in his signature chuunibyou style.

After spending a few minutes examining Guy's body, a hint of surprise appeared in Shennong's eyes: this boy's body was incredibly sturdy.

"Doctor Shennong, how is he?" Might Duy asked.

Shennong snapped back to reality and smiled: "Guy's body is in excellent condition. There are no hidden injuries at all!"

"That's a relief." Might Duy let out a sigh of relief.

"Well then, I should be taking my leave now."

Shennong stood up and said, "I will prepare the medicinal herbs and come back to disturb you again this afternoon."

"Sorry for the trouble, Doctor Shennong!"

"Thank you very much, Doctor Shennong!"

Might Father and Son hurriedly stood up to express their sincere gratitude.
