Countless scraps of paper drifted down from the Giant Trees like dandruff in the sunlight, quickly covering the ground until there was hardly anywhere to step.

"Paper?" Tenzo frowned at the scraps scattered all around them. Was this a prank or an attack?

But who would attack with paper?

Tenzo was completely baffled.

"Big Brother Shisui, who is she?" Itachi Uchiha hurried forward to stand shoulder to shoulder with Shisui. On guard, he drew a kunai and pointed it at Konan in the air.

The rest of the squad reacted just as quickly, spreading out in a semicircle around Konan.

"Her name is Konan. She specializes in Paper Release and is Pain's partner. Pain leads Akatsuki," Shisui said gravely.
