Early life and Team Two

Shisui was regarded as an exceptional Uchiha prodigy even while still at the Ninja Academy. His talent in the Body Flicker Technique and kunai throwing had already earned admiration, and he was expected to graduate early. He could also perform the Great Fireball Technique and Earth Style: Earth Wall at a young age. 20 124

Under Aburame Shibi, Shisui served on a team with Gekko Hanfu and Aburame Yui. He openly stated that his dream was to become a bridge between Konoha and the Uchiha Clan so that both could coexist peacefully. 130

During a clash with Kumogakure, two experienced Chunin targeted Shisui specifically for his Sharingan. His One-Tomoe Sharingan and Body Flicker kept him alive, but he was wounded and clearly outmatched by their greater strength, speed, experience, and stamina. 161

Rise during the Third Shinobi World War

Shisui’s Sharingan evolved to Two-Tomoe after the Land of Grass mission. Because Uchiha custom required a newly evolved Two-Tomoe user to receive advanced Fire Release and genjutsu training before taking the Chunin Exams, his time with Team Two came to an end. 199 200

During the Third Shinobi World War, Togashi’s death awakened Shisui’s Mangekyo Sharingan. His exploits against Kirigakure made the name “Body Flicker Shisui” widely known among enemy shinobi and within Konoha’s Anbu. 310 401

Shisui intervened during Kushina Uzumaki’s childbirth crisis, confronting the masked Obito Uchiha with his Mangekyo Sharingan. He later used its ocular power to suppress the Nine-Tails within Kushina’s failing seal. 395 396
