"長門, do you have a plan?" Konan asked softly beneath the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
"The plan is to get the Four-Tails, no matter what," Nagato said firmly.
"Orochimaru is an extremely dangerous and cunning man. Getting the Four-Tails from him..."
Konan hesitated, then continued, "Besides, Zetsu has made it clear that he's working with Orochimaru. With Zetsu involved, we'll be at a serious disadvantage. And your body can't withstand another fierce battle so soon."
"Don't worry."
Nagato said gravely, "Orochimaru and Zetsu must have brought out the Four-Tails because they want something from Akatsuki. I'll take advantage of the situation."
"Let's hope everything goes smoothly." Konan sighed quietly.
In a small city.
Hanfu and Kakashi found a Yakiniku Restaurant. They ate grilled meat, drank a little, and waited for Naruto, Sasuke, and Karin.
More than an hour later, Hanfu and Kakashi were full and satisfied. Naruto and the others had finished gathering information, too, and followed the markers Hanfu had left to find the restaurant.
"Teacher Hanfu, Kakashi-senpai, you..."
Naruto entered the restaurant and saw the meat skewers on Hanfu's table, the bottles of liquor, and the irresistible smell of grilled meat all around them. He was furious. "That's so unfair!!"
Karin couldn't stand it either. "That's awful, Big Brother! You sent us out to work while you sat here eating and drinking. Doesn't your conscience hurt?"
Sasuke didn't seem to care. With his hands in his pockets, he got down to business. "According to our investigation, the Big Fat Sheep you're looking for did show up here, but she left two days ago. It seems she was being chased by people she owed money to. That's about all we found out."
"Did you find out where the Big Fat Sheep went?" Hanfu asked.
"We did."
