History
During an ancient human–demon war, the Immortal Alliance Academy was founded on the advice of a farsighted individual. Its continuous supply of cultivators helped humanity gain the advantage, first taking the Outer Sea and then occupying half of the Inner Sea. The academy produced many Nascent Soul True Lords and Spirit Transformation Venerables during the conflict. 236
After the two races ceased large-scale hostilities, the academy endured while many once-renowned sects disappeared. It eventually lost its autonomy and declined into a system through which major sects selected disciples. 236
The Alliance later established enduring authority across its sea territories through immortal cities, supervision systems, resource control, and a broad intelligence network. Its rule was strong enough that powerful clans and demon-race figures treated attracting its attention as a serious threat. 546 877
Administration and Jurisdiction
- Immortal Alliance Island / Immortal Alliance City — The Alliance's headquarters is located in Immortal Alliance City on Immortal Alliance Island. The city is heavily secured and is overseen by a Spirit Transformation Venerable. 217 545
- Immortal cities — The Alliance directly governs islands with medium-sized Spirit Veins by building immortal cities upon them. Nearby cities are expected to rapidly provide aid when called, though the recipient must pay a support fee. 1321
- Headquarters and branches — Departments distinguish between headquarters personnel and city branches. For example, Spirit Source Hall uniforms are marked either “Immortal Alliance · Headquarters” or with the relevant branch designation; headquarters personnel rank above branch personnel. 1067
- Honorary elders — Honorary elders are generally left unbound, but can be commanded during existential crises or world-changing upheavals. Such orders have reportedly been issued only two or three times since the Alliance's founding. 919
- Immortal Alliance Academy — Students with Spiritual Roots may begin on small islands, advance to medium-island academies at Qi Refining Mid-stage, and large-island academies at Qi Refining Late-stage. Those who fail to advance within the prescribed time are expelled. 236
Major Departments

| Spirit Source Hall | Controls the Alliance's major revenues and resources, including Teleportation Array proceeds and rents from immortal cities. 1067 |
| Law Enforcement Hall | Enforces decrees, delivers compulsory orders, and gathers array masters and artifact refiners for Alliance tasks. 1557 |
| Spirit Message Hall | Handles reports and communications used by Alliance envoys and operational teams. 1088 |

| Myriad Treasures Pavilion | Exchanges Contribution Points for cultivation resources, techniques, and rare Spiritual Items. 377 862 |
| Myriad Law Hall | Holds cultivation methods, clone arts, Treasure Arts, and divine-ability-related materials. 779 836 |
Resources and Infrastructure
- Contribution Point system — Alliance members can earn Contribution Points through duties and missions, then exchange them for Spiritual Items at facilities such as the Myriad Treasures Pavilion. 375 862
- Immortal Alliance Ring — An identity item that cannot be forged; it automatically shatters when its owner dies. 323
- Treasure ships — Even small islands under Alliance rule can be equipped with strategic-grade Treasure Tool ships, while medium islands may possess ships comparable to Magic Treasures. 246
- Cultivation repositories — The Alliance's collections include arrays, talismans, tools, pills, and rare materials; its resource foundation is noted for its completeness and scale. 377
- Controlled exchanges — Divine abilities, cultivation methods, and secret arts obtained through Alliance exchanges may require a Heart Demon Great Oath restricting cultivation to a single recipient and prohibiting further transmission. 1065
- Marked rare materials — Certain rare special Spiritual Items from the Myriad Treasures Pavilion secretly carry a difficult-to-detect tracking mark. Only a few Spirit Transformation cultivators within the Alliance know of this measure. 1261
Law Enforcement and Intelligence
Forbidden Arts
The Alliance forbids malicious soul-related secret techniques that threaten its rule and considers them sources of instability. Offenders may be pursued under the Heavenly Dao Pursuit Order. 416
The Heavenly Dao Pursuit Order publicly lists wanted evil cultivators and fiends, including their images, cultivation levels, and rewards. Similar wanted-order jade steles are present in the mission halls of Alliance departments. 835
Investigations
The Supervision Hall escalates cases when investigators disappear or evidence indicates a powerful backer. During the Huangfu Immortal Clan investigation, the disappearance of a Supervision disciple and a Second-Rank Supervision Cultivator caused the mission level to rise repeatedly. 519
The Alliance maintains surveillance and intelligence capabilities strong enough to receive a detailed account of the Helian Immortal Clan's destruction soon after the event. It paid particular attention because several hundred thousand mortals had died on Xiao Li Island. 877
In response to disorder in the kingdoms around Wind Snow Kingdom, the Alliance dispatched a Nascent Soul elder, removed the negligent Supervision Envoy Xin Kui True Lord, and appointed Heavenly Sound True Lord as his replacement. 1630
Protection of Mortals and Order
The Alliance places exceptional importance on mass mortal casualties. The destruction of several hundred thousand mortals on Xiao Li Island was treated as a matter serious enough to reach Supervision Hall leadership. 877
Its presence long deterred Devil Lords and helped preserve peace in cultivation regions such as the Green Wood Mountain Range. 1093
Major Operations
Huangfu and Helian Clan Investigations
The Alliance investigated the Huangfu Immortal Clan over alleged collusion with Evil Cultivators, but proceeded cautiously because of the clan's ties to a Nascent Soul Late Stage cultivator and a Spirit Transformation Venerable. 519 546
It later targeted the Helian Immortal Clan after suspicious large-scale spirit-blood activity drew attention. The Alliance was prepared to purge even the clan's main branch within Sea Suppressing Alliance territory. 864
Forbidden Sea Mobilization
The Alliance conducted a massive exchange operation across Immortal Alliance City and other cities, using the Spirit Source Hall to collect rare Spiritual Items. The scale and purpose of the operation initially remained unclear even to Nascent Soul cultivators observing it. 1065 1067
It then issued an exchange list offering substantial rewards—including breakthrough resources, high-tier Spiritual Items, divine abilities, and divine blood—for participation in the Forbidden Sea effort. 1083 1085
Golden Core cultivators who refused to answer the call risked losing the leasehold rights to B-Grade Cave Mansions on Immortal Mansion Spirit Mountain. 1083 1086
Alliance envoys were sent to inland sects to register Nascent Soul cultivators, assign them to teams targeting Human Origin or Earth Origin Blood Demons, and mark compliant sects’ protection formations with an Immortal Alliance Identity Token. 1093 1088
Wartime Conscription
The Alliance later issued decrees requiring cultivators and Golden Core-level forces to participate in large-scale war preparations. Refusal carried severe consequences, prompting some cultivators to flee or attempt to evade the summons. 1620 1623
A temporary Supervision Department was established to investigate favoritism and malpractice in conscription. The Alliance reportedly executed two Nascent Soul cultivators and dozens of Golden Core cultivators connected to such misconduct. 1621
During the two-race war, Alliance treasure vaults released vast resources, allowing many Nascent Soul cultivators and great demons to exchange Contribution Points for Innate Gang Sha, Earthly Turbid Qi, Magic Treasures, and divine-ability methods. 1636
Decline and Later Position
After the fall or disappearance of Spirit Transformation powerhouses, the Alliance's ability to maintain order weakened. Its influence waned in the Six Kingdoms Cultivation World, where sectarian warfare and struggles over Spirit Veins escalated. 1749
When the Sea Suppressing Alliance called for world unification, Immortal Alliance Half-Venerables convened at headquarters. Some regarded temporary compliance as an opportunity to restore order while preserving their foundations for a future reversal. 1865
The Alliance ultimately sent representatives to Sea Suppressing City to assess the situation surrounding the unification decree. 1865
