The Emperor's Gray Currency!
The Light Gate opens.
Su Ye walked straight in, with Alice following behind Su Ye as they entered World No. 1.
In World No. 1.
Su Ye looked at the towering black towers, rising one after another from the ground, the ground itself made of cast steel, the entire city seemingly made of cast steel.
Robot are constantly moving something around.
Su Ye opened his mouth wide, wanting to complain, but didn't know where to begin.
It feels like an entire Epoch has passed in just one day since I last saw World No. 1; steel jungles now stand tall in this city.
Su Ye looked up at the sky, where Holy Angel were patrolling with their wings spread.
A white light descended from the sky.
Alice's eyes darted around, but she didn't stop her.
A white figure appeared in front of Su Ye.
Keisha!!!
"Lord," Keisha said, kneeling on one knee and facing Su Ye.
"Get up," Su Ye said to Keisha.
Keisha stood up and stood behind Su Ye. Su Ye looked at the steel behemoth in front of him and asked, "Where is Xi Yue?"
"Xi Yue is currently at her factory," Keisha said to Su Ye.
Su Ye nodded. "Take me to see."
Upon hearing Su Ye's words, Keisha showed a hint of hesitation.
"What's wrong?" Su Ye asked, noticing the hesitation on Keisha's face.
"Lord, if you are going, please be mentally prepared," Keisha said to Su Ye.
"What do you mean?" Su Ye asked Keisha with some curiosity.
"Xi Yue is conducting some experiments," Keisha's voice rang out.
"An experiment?" Su Ye raised an eyebrow and looked at Keisha.
The experiment that could elicit such a reaction from Keisha was definitely not Normal.
"I hope it's not some strange experiment," Su Ye said softly.
"That's about it," Keisha replied softly.
"Come on, take me to see this." Su Ye took a deep breath and looked at Keisha.
This time, Keisha did not hesitate and took Su Ye to the factory where Xi Yue was currently located.
A massive factory appeared before Su Ye, brightly lit, with the constant roar of machinery and eerie beastly howls echoing throughout.
Keisha led the way, with Su Ye following behind Keisha, and Alice following behind Su Ye, as they entered the factory together.
The interior of the factory came into view before Su Ye.
In the brightly lit factory, on the assembly line, one after another, humanoid creatures with Distortion flesh were controlled by mechanical arms and then embedded into strange armor.
The armor looks bulky and large, lacking a high-tech feel, but possessing a heavy and solid presence.
"Blue canned goods?!" Su Ye looked at the canned armor being produced on the assembly line in the factory.
Xi Yue, who was arranging things, looked up at Su Ye standing at the factory gate, put down her work, and came to Su Ye's side.
"Your Emperor," Xi Yue's voice rang out.
Su Ye looked at Xi Yue: "What are these things?"
Xi Yue adjusted her glasses. "Your Emperor, these are merely experimental War Servitor."
"War Servitor??" Su Ye looked at Xi Yue with a puzzled look in his eyes. Why did it look so much like a blue can of food, except that it was gray in color and blood was seeping out from the gaps in its armor?
It's basically a demon-upgraded version of the blue canned food, only gray in color.
What blasphemy!
"These are all disposable items, merely your currency, Your Emperor," Xi Yue said softly.
Su Ye:...
Something feels off; this trend is a bit strange.
"Won't these modifications make them obedient?" Su Ye looked at the gray humanoid armor.
"They don't need to obey orders. Just let them sleep and release them at the appropriate time. They will attack anyone indiscriminately, and they also carry the Flesh-Eating Virus researched by Liu Fei. Even if they die, they will still cause some trouble for the enemy." Xi Yue pushed up her glasses and said with a smile.
Su Ye:...
"Did you and Liu Fei research this?" Su Ye asked Xi Yue.
"No, Liu Fei only provided the Virus, and I was responsible for arming them and keeping them in a dormant state so that they could be awakened at any time," Xi Yue said, looking at the gray humanoid armor.
"Some worthless junk, plus a little Virus, plus some flesh and blood that should have died, made up of experimental rejects. Their value is only equivalent to Your Emperor's lowest level of currency." Xi Yue smiled as she looked at Su Ye.
Su Ye fell silent.
"So what's the purpose of your research on these things?" Su Ye asked Xi Yue with some curiosity.
"Some unnecessary experimental subjects are simply wasted. If they can contribute their remaining value to Your Emperor, it would be their honor," Xi Yue said softly.
"These Emperor can be sold as your Emperor, and you won't have to pay any price," Xi Yue added.
Su Ye looked at the rows of gray humanoid armor figures, clearly arranged by the mechanical arms.
After being embedded into the gray humanoid armor, it was placed in a huge cold storage and forced into a deep sleep.
"Won't their armor fall off?" Su Ye asked curiously.
"No, the most amazing thing about these flesh-and-blood creatures is their ability to assimilate and integrate with the surrounding matter. They will begin to assimilate these armors from the inside out until they are completely integrated with the entire armor," Xi Yue said softly.
"All I did was use some scrap metal to build a container to hold them," Xi Yue said with a smile.
Su Ye took a deep breath and looked at the gray humanoid battle armor.
"What are their names?" Su Ye asked Xi Yue.
"The Emperor and the like are your Gray Currency, so the naming rights naturally belong to you," Xi Yue said very devoutly.
"Let's call it Bio-Servitor No. 1," Su Ye said after thinking for a moment.
"Of course, as you wish." Xi Yue smiled.
"How many have been manufactured so far?" Su Ye asked Xi Yue.
"To date, there are 5,986 Bio-Servitor No. 1, and production is ongoing. This factory is expected to produce 10,000 per day, provided there are enough."
"This factory?" Su Ye looked at Xi Yue, grasping the key point.
"There are ten such factories in total," Xi Yue said with a smile.
Su Ye was at a loss for words.
"Alright, you can handle these things as you see fit. But I'd like to know why you're making all this stuff, Xi Yue?" Su Ye asked curiously.
"Your Emperor, you probably don't know the current environment of our base, do you?" Xi Yue looked at Su Ye.
Su Ye:????
"What environment?" Su Ye didn't quite understand what Xi Yue meant.
"Your Emperor, you'll see once you come with me," Xi Yue said to Su Ye Su Ye, leading him out of the factory and driving directly to the tallest tower in this steel city.
