Wondrous item: Sun Cube!
Su Ye glanced at the Sanka in his hand, then took Pangilia and Cassilia directly to the Wicked Summoning Hall.
[Ding: Do you wish to enable daily free summons?]
"Summon." Su Ye looked at the Altar in front of him, having already given up hope. This damn Altar was utterly disgusting.
A black pillar of light rose up, and Su Ye curled his lip, not surprised at all.
When the black divine light dissipated.
A strange Rubik's Cube appeared in front of Su Ye, floating silently in the air, with a sun symbol on it.
The All-Knowing Eye!
Name: Sun Cube
Level: Rare Item
Trait: Immortal (Cannot be damaged!)
Su Ye looked at the Sun Cube with a hint of curiosity in his eyes. This thing was relatively normal among the many strange items.
Su Ye threw it directly into the God King Treasury. Who knows where this God King Secret Realm is? The Eternal World is so vast, it's questionable whether he can even encounter it. He'll just put it away for now.
If all else fails, auctioning it off is not a problem.
Anyway, Su Ye doesn't need this much, and keeping it in his possession might just be a hot potato; it's not a good thing.
Su Ye led Pangilia and Cassilia directly out of the Wicked Summoning Institute.
"System, activate the Void Trial, difficulty: Abyss!!" Su Ye's voice rang out, tinged with a hint of emotion.
This was the last time Su Ye would ever participate in the Void Trial, and he was truly reluctant to part with it, even more so than if he couldn't become a lord.
(Eternal Will: Get out of here!!)
A system notification sounded.
[Ding: The Void Trial has begun. Difficulty: Abyss. You have thirty seconds to prepare.]
Su Ye listened to the system's notification tone, he wondered if it was just his imagination, but why did the system's notification tone sound so cheerful? It was as if he was about to be liberated.
"Is it just my imagination?" Su Ye shook his head, looking at the Void Trial that had been opened in his Territory.
He sat down in his Territory and opened the Chat Channel.
[Brothers, today's the last day, what are your plans?]
See you at Imperial Capital University!
[Hmm? What talent Troops do you have that you're going to meet at the Imperial Capital University?]
[What's wrong? Just because your talent/ Troops isn't good doesn't mean you can't try it out. What if you fail?]
[Ugh! Being a lord is so damn tough! These Troops are so damn hard to deal with. Seriously, I've never been this filial to my own parents.]
[Who isn't like that? They go on strike when they're unhappy, they go on strike when they're not full, it's unbelievable! This is Troops, isn't it? They're practically like our own parents.]
[Ahem, enough chit-chat, brothers, remember my name: Third Rank Troops. Succubus from Guang City, come find me. You know what I mean!]
[Holy crap, bro, you're amazing! Thirty days and you're still alive! What's your secret?]
[Secret recipe? Secret recipe my ass! Damn it, I'm practically dried up, I can't take it anymore, I can't take it anymore, all I can do is make empty promises.]
[As expected, the people from Guang City really know how to maintain their health.]
Su Ye looked at the Chat Channel and saw everyone lamenting that today was the last day.
And what to do next.
A private message notification popped up.
Su Ye opened it and glanced at it; it was sent by Lin Xiaoxiao.
[Little Merchant: Boss, you're going back to the Main World tomorrow. Where are you going?]
Su Ye looked at the message Lin Xiaoxiao sent. It seemed like a simple sentence, but it was actually asking him what he was planning to do and what preparations he had made.
"So impatient already?" Su Ye pursed his lips, realizing that young people are just too impulsive, not the cunning old fox he once was.
[Otherworld Traveler: Little Boss, I haven't decided which university to go to yet; I'm still considering it.]
[Little Merchant: Why don't you come to Magic Capital University? I'll take care of things here.]
Su Ye looked at the message Lin Xiaoxiao sent: Magic Capital University? Go to hell! Su Ye would rather die than go to that place. Magic Capital is the headquarters of these Great Merchant Guild.
Going Su Ye would really be like waiting to be treated like a pig.
[Otherworld Traveler: Sure, no problem. With the boss around, it seems pretty good.]
[Little Merchant: It's settled then. We'll keep in touch in the Main World. I'll come pick you up, boss.]
[Otherworld Traveler: OK's Little Boss.]
[Little Merchant: OK!]
Su Ye closed the Private Chat Panel.
"Going to Magic Capital University, do you really think you'll survive?" Su Ye curled his lip, thinking, "Does she think I'm an idiot? Luckily, I only told her my name, not which school I went to."
"Run, I have to run, they've got their eyes on me." Su Ye thought to himself as he read the message from Lin Xiaoxiao.
Agreeing now is just to fool that little fox Lin Xiaoxiao; by the time she realizes it, I'll already be in the Imperial Capital.
Once we get to the Imperial Capital, things will be much easier.
The Main World has its Main World rules, which even gods must abide by. After all, the empires of the Main World are empires of empires, not those of any particular Families or Trade Association; there is a fundamental difference between them.
There was once Families whose god disobeyed the rules and took action within the empire. As a result, the entire Families was devoured, and even the god himself was completely destroyed.
These are the rules of the empire, and everyone must abide by them. As for why the empire has such a strong foundation, that's another matter.
That can only mean that, no matter when or what era, there are always people in the empire who truly love it, and it is their existence that has protected the empire's bottom line.
This group of people includes both second-generation rich kids and Normal, but regardless of their status, they all belong to the empire. It is because of this that the empire has its current Order and rules.
This world has both black and white; it's not purely black, nor purely white. The boundaries are blurred, but such a group of people does exist, and has always existed.
Undeniably, the empire has many problems, but for Normal, it has done a good job and is moving in a better direction, though this will take time.
Having lived in this world for eighteen years, Su Ye has deep feelings. At the very least, without the Empire, there would be no him today. Otherwise, he would have died long ago and no one would know where he is now. It is the benefits of the Empire that have allowed him to grow up to where he is today.
"The Empire..." Su Ye narrowed his eyes, his thoughts wandering. No matter what, he would be involved; it was just a matter of degree. His roots were here; he couldn't leave even if he wanted to, and Su Ye didn't want to leave anyway.
"Forget it, now's not the time to think about these things. Let's order first." Su Ye went straight to the Palace of Origin and started eating. Today was destined to be a very long day.
