Should I Know, or Shouldn't I?
"Old Man, I've come to see you." Su Ye, carrying two bottles of wine, sat down directly opposite the Old Man Old Man and said with a smile.
"You brat, what's the matter?" Director Lin asked Su Ye with a smile.
"Hehe, Old Man, I came here specifically to see you. What are you saying?" Su Ye said shamelessly.
"You're not going to talk, are you? If you're not going to talk, you can leave. You've seen him, he's perfectly healthy," Director Lin said sarcastically, looking at Su Ye.
"Hehe, the Old Man can't hide anything from you. Is this thing useful to the school?" Su Ye took out a Strange Crystal.
Director Lin looked at Su Ye with a serious expression. "Did you use this thing?"
"No, I found this in my world. Why would I use it?" Su Ye looked at Director Lin, pretending to know nothing.
"Is that so?" Elder Lin looked at Su Ye, and after a moment of silence, he spoke.
"Take me to your Territory," Director Lin, looking at Su Ye.
Su Ye was taken aback. Judging from Director Lin's reaction, he seemed to know what consequences this thing would bring, which meant that the Empire had known about its existence for a long time.
"Okay." Su Ye grabbed Director Lin's hand and returned to his Affiliate Territory.
"Look, Old Man, this is my Barracks and factory," Su Ye said to Director Lin.
After carefully examining the area, Director Lin was finally relieved.
"You brat, this thing is unusable, you can't joke about it," Elder Lin said to Su Ye in an annoyed tone.
"Let's go back first," said Director Lin, disappearing from Su Ye's Territory. Su Ye then returned to Director Lin's Office.
"Old Man, isn't this Evolution Crystal?" Su Ye asked the Old Man, looking completely clueless.
The Old Man looked at Su Ye. Not many people in the empire knew about this, but they were all Absolute Loyalty. Don't ask why the Old Man knew; even though the Old Man was Demigod.
But the previous disciple was a deity, and he is still Twenty-Four Heavens, not the kind who applauds. So how do you think the Old Man knows?
"This stuff is no good, you absolutely mustn't use it," the Old Man said with some apprehension, looking at Su Ye.
"Take this and sell it; someone will buy it," the Old Man said softly.
"I have two," Su Ye said softly to the Old Man.
The Old Man:...
"Sell them all. Don't worry, someone will buy them. We'll make a fortune," the Old Man said with a strange look in his eyes.
"Hmm? Old Man, I feel like there's something you're not saying." Su Ye asked the Old Man with a hint of curiosity.
"Are you sure you want to know?" The Old Man glared at Su Ye, annoyed.
"Uh? Is it good news or bad news?" Su Ye asked, feigning hesitation.
"It's a good thing, and a bad thing." The Old Man looked at Su Ye with a playful expression.
"Should I know, or should I not know?" Su Ye asked the Old Man, feigning a chill run down his spine.
The Old Man gave Su Ye a disapproving look. "What do you think? You don't know about this, you can't know, and you don't want to know."
The Old Man said "no" three times.
Su Ye also realized the seriousness of the problem from what he heard.
There's a huge pit inside!
"Alright, Old Man, I'll hand it over to Tigu Auction House right away," Su Ye said to the Old Man.
"Go ahead," the Old Man nodded.
Su Ye left the Office directly. Watching Su Ye's departing figure, the Old Man's eyes flashed with a cold light. "Let's see who jumps out this time."
With the Strange Crystal in hand and a smile on his face, Su Ye Su Ye directly to the Auction House in the Imperial Capital as if nothing had happened.
"Manager Wang." Su Ye went directly to Manager Wang's Office.
"Mr. Su, welcome, welcome. Go and pour Mr. Su a cup of top-grade spiritual tea," Manager Wang said to his secretary.
The secretary swayed her hips as she left Manager Wang's Office.
"Mr. Su, please have a seat!" Manager Wang said to Su Ye with a smile.
Su Ye sat down directly on the sofa.
"Manager Wang, I'm here to trouble you again. This is what we're auctioning." Su Ye smiled at Manager Wang and took out two Strange Crystal.
"Strange Crystal? This is a good thing, Mr. Su, aren't you going to use it?" Manager Wang looked at the Strange Crystal with surprise.
"This thing is useless to me, so naturally it's going to be auctioned off," Su Ye said casually.
"Mr. Su, please have a seat and some tea. I'll go get a contract," Manager Wang said to Su Ye.
Manager Wang's secretary returned with a cup of spiritual tea. Su Ye used his All-Knowing Eye to check it out. No problem. Being cautious was necessary; otherwise, things could easily go wrong.
Many great things are ruined by small details, and Su Ye didn't want to make the same mistake.
Manager Wang quickly produced a contract, which Su Ye examined with his All-Knowing Eye. Finding no problems, he then signed his name.
"Mr. Su, your items will be auctioned tomorrow night, at the same place as always. Yaya will be there to greet you," Manager Wang said to Su Ye with a smile.
"Manager Wang, you're too kind," Su Ye said with a smile. Manager Wang saw Su Ye directly to his car and waited for Su Ye to leave before turning back to the Imperial Capital Auction House.
This is what professionalism is all about.
Upon returning home, Su Ye went straight back to his Territory.
With a serious expression, Su Ye knew from his probing of the Old Man that the imperial high command was aware of the dangers of the Strange Crystal, but the Old Man had not stopped him.
Instead, they let him sell it and auction it off without worry, which puzzled Su Ye.
Su Ye didn't think the Empire was unaware of just how terrifying the Zerg were.
"Could it be that the Empire is unaware that this is a Taboo being causing trouble?" Su Ye couldn't help but wonder, frowning.
"Is the Empire fishing or what?" Su Ye took a deep breath. He knew too little information, which made Su Ye feel very frustrated, but since the master didn't say anything, Su Ye couldn't press the matter further.
The fact that the Old Man immediately checked his Barracks upon learning of the Strange Crystal Strange Crystal demonstrates that the Empire was fully aware of its significance.
"Damn, is the Empire planning something big?" Su Ye suddenly realized something: the Empire never does anything useless.
This made Su Ye think of a possibility: the Empire was using these things as bait, and the Zerg might know the same thing, it just depends on how well they are prepared.
Thinking about this, Su Ye felt a chill run down his spine. Was the Empire planning to kill a Taboo figure? Or was it using this opportunity to cleanse some trash, or perhaps both?
