Background / History

Ning Ning entered the cultivation world after transmigrating into a novel, Sword Pierces the Firmament. She occupied the body of another Ning Ning: a wealthy merchant family's pampered, arrogant daughter and Tian Xianzi's personal disciple. The System required her to follow the original villainess's plot, repeatedly provoking key characters and courting death in order to survive. 1 2

Although she initially tried to perform the role, she was fundamentally unsuited to cruelty. She avoided the original host's harsher insults, intervened when Pei Ji was being bullied, and repeatedly found ways to fulfill plot tasks without deliberately harming others. 3 15
