Early the next morning, Uchiha Kei emerged from the underground laboratory feeling refreshed.
Looking at the blazing sun overhead, a delighted smile appeared on his face.
Although Hyuga Aya had slipped away early in the morning, it was nothing unusual. That woman had always been like this, and he was long used to it.
Hyuga Aya seemed instinctively somewhat afraid whenever it came to such intimate matters between them, something Uchiha Kei found rather baffling.
That woman could face enemies without changing expression. No matter how powerful they were, she never showed the slightest fear.

"If you didn't talk, I'd think you were a pretty decent person." Uchiha Kei shot him a disdainful glance. "What a shame. Such a fine person, yet he had to grow a mouth."
"If I had no mouth, I'd be a monster, wouldn't I?" Imai Kenta laughed nonchalantly. "Still, at least it's clear yesterday's battle didn't affect you much. You know, I spent the whole night worrying for nothing—wondering whether such intense, prolonged combat would cause you any problems."
