"Uchiha... Shisui!"
Standing before the two of them, Sasuke's complex, indescribable gaze ultimately turned into hatred.
He could never forget everything that had happened. He had thought he could restrain himself.
But now, he realized that when he truly faced someone comparable to Uchiha Itachi, he had no way to control his emotions at all.
It was betrayal—a feeling that tore through his heart!
"Sasuke?"
Seeing Sasuke suddenly appear, Shisui felt his scalp go numb.
It wasn't that he hadn't considered who might be following the two of them. Perhaps it was someone from the Anbu, perhaps someone from the Military Police Force.
And between those two possibilities, the worst outcome would be running into someone from the Uchiha Clan.
People from the same village were already difficult enough for him to face. If it was someone from his own clan, then this would become even more humiliating.
But he never could have imagined that the scenario he had considered so terrible wasn't actually the worst one.
Because the true worst-case scenario was running into Sasuke!
This was his younger brother—one of the people he least wanted to face.
Why was this kid here?
Shisui felt lost, and for a moment, he did not even know what to do.
If it had only been Shisui, or only Sasuke, then none of this would have mattered.
But Sasuke had clearly not come alone. Someone was hiding not far away.
Kisame and Shisui were not blind. How could they fail to notice such an obvious presence?
And Shisui was not alone either. Kisame was beside him, a genuine thug and a genuine brute.
If that man went mad, things would become truly disastrous!
Shisui had a splitting headache as he wondered how he should handle this situation.
What Shisui did not know
