Ownerless Things (Seeking Subscriptions~)

In Konoha, deep in the forest behind the Uchiha Clan's mountain, Uchiha Kei and Uchiha Fugaku stood silently.

Neither of them had come here in a long time. More than a decade ago, they had come here together, mainly to wait for Namikaze Minato.

But Namikaze Minato would not be coming today. Uchiha Itachi had already gone to report what needed reporting. Though they had only just returned to Konoha, such matters still needed to be filed as early as possible.

That evening, Uchiha Fugaku had returned to Konoha with Uchiha Itachi and Sasuke.

The three of them seemed to be doing fairly well. Aside from Sasuke, whose mood was somewhat low and strange, the others were fine.

Uchiha Kei had never asked about or involved himself in these matters. Thus, when Uchiha Fugaku invited him out that night, he had no intention of refusing.

Moreover, he guessed that guy probably had other things he wanted to discuss with him.

"It's been a long time since we stood here together. The last time was over a decade ago." Looking at everything before him, Uchiha Fugaku could not help but sigh. "Back then, we were standing here just like this."

"Then and now, one and the same?" Uchiha Kei interrupted with an amused smile. "Alright, no need to be so sentimental. We have plenty of time ahead of us. Besides, none of this is what it used to be."

Konoha truly was no longer the Konoha it had once been. Setting aside the village's systems and atmosphere, the village itself had been rebuilt and reshaped.

Even the forest where they stood had been piled up anew. Everything from back then had been destroyed in the battle between Uchiha Kei and Otsutsuki Momoshiki, including Konoha's symbol—the Hokage Rock standing behind the village!
