"What are you two doing?"

Inside the Military Police Force, Hyuga Aya glared coldly at Uchiha Kei and Imai Kenta, her usually aloof face filled with dissatisfaction toward them both.

"You knew the war was about to begin, yet the two of you actually hid away. Fine, hiding away is one thing, but you even sealed off the underground laboratory? And the stupidest part is, did you not know to have Kei make a Shadow Clone to handle the village's affairs? You had that idiot Kenta do it instead? Who wouldn't be able to tell the difference between you two?"

Faced with Hyuga Aya's accusations, neither Uchiha Kei nor Imai Kenta could bring themselves to argue back.

Imai Kenta, especially, felt utterly aggrieved.

He admitted that the way he handled things differed greatly from Uchiha Kei's, but surely it was not so obvious that anyone could tell at a glance, right?
