Konan had no time to react at all. The thunderous roar and violent tremors had already drawn her attention outside. Who could have known that such a sinister guy had been lurking right beside them?

"A-a pawn?" Nagato resisted frantically, only to discover in despair that he seemed utterly incapable of resisting any of this.

His body became increasingly immobile. Though his consciousness remained clear, control of his body had already been taken away. The sensation filled Nagato with unbearable anguish and pain.

Black Zetsu was originally a fusion of Yin-Yang Release, and the one who created him was Kaguya Otsutsuki. Even if he possessed little strength himself, his control over Chakra was likely beyond the reach of ordinary people.

Otherwise, he could not have ripped out Uchiha Madara's heart and calmly spoken to him.

The overwhelming control left Nagato completely unable to resist. In only moments, Black Zetsu had fully taken control of Nagato's body.
