Shin ran into the backyard. "Shiro, I'm here!"
Shiro sat in the yard, seemingly concentrating on something. At the sound of Shin's voice, he lifted his head.
Shin tilted his head and looked at him.
"Shiro?"
Shiro took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
The next second, a faint glow appeared around his four limbs.
Shin's eyes widened. He rushed over and threw his arms around Shiro.
"Shiro, you did it! You really did it!"
Shiro's eyes nearly bulged from being squeezed, but his tail wagged like crazy.
"Woof!"
Shin let him go and crouched down, his eyes shining.
"Come on, show me again."
Shiro stepped back two paces and tensed his four legs slightly.
The glow appeared again, a little brighter than before, surrounding his paws.
"Shiro, you're a genius!"
Shiro proudly raised his head.
"Woof."
Shin suddenly remembered something and bounced to his feet. "Oh, right, right! You can stick Chakra to walls!"
With that, he ran to the courtyard wall and scrambled up it in a few quick moves. His feet clung firmly to the wall as if they had suction cups.
"See? Just like this."
Shiro looked up at him, head tilted.
Shin jumped down from the wall and ran over to Shiro.
"Give it a try. Concentrate Chakra in your paws, then walk up the wall."
Shiro looked at the wall, then lowered his head to examine his paws.
He walked over and gently placed a front paw against the wall.
One step.
Two steps.
Three of his legs made it up, but his hind leg was still struggling below.
Thump.
Shiro fell down, all four paws in the air.
Shin ran over.
"Are you okay?"
