Chapter Thirteen: Leading the Exploration

Lu Yuanming paid no mind to the pained expressions on the faces of those present.

Ultimately, the group was divided into two exploration teams. Lu Yuanming personally led one, while John led the other. At the same time, Lu Yuanming used two more Colorless Light Particles to create bullets, leaving him with only one last Colorless Light Particle as a trump card.

Then, Lu Yuanming saw an open space ahead. At the entrance of a dilapidated Supermarket, in what should have been a parking lot, hundreds of Humans were in extreme chaos.

There was a group of Human-sized spiders, ferocious and terrifying in appearance. They were attacking the Humans, paralyzing them with their stingers, and then immediately wrapping them in white Spider Silk. The spiders then began to attack the remaining people. There were at least thirty such spiders.

Among the hundreds of Humans, a very small number held Metal Rods or Rebar Concrete Sticks, attacking the spiders with red eyes. However, more people were scattering or fleeing directly, making it impossible for these brave individuals to form a formation or any organization. This allowed the spiders to thrive in the chaos, continuously attacking Humans and wrapping them into white cocoons.

This was the scene Lu Yuanming and his group witnessed. The companions accompanying them all looked at him. Lu Yuanming said without hesitation, "Attack the spiders. Father Edward, please go and comfort those who are fleeing. Dr. Cthulhu, please assist the Father."

The scene at the Supermarket was chaotic, and no one noticed the arrival of Lu Yuanming and his group until a gunshot rang out. A faint white Bullet trace cut through the air, piercing the mouthparts of a spider that was about to pounce on the crowd. It fell to the ground, trembling violently, and then slowly stopped moving.

Lu Yuanming then saw a mass of White Light Particles, about half the amount from a Man-faced Dog. One-tenth of these White Light Particles floated towards him and merged into his body.

All the Humans in the chaos instinctively looked in their direction. Peter fired again, piercing the mouthparts of another spider.

After this shot, the chaotic crowd erupted in cheers, cries, and the sound of footsteps running towards Lu Yuanming's team.
