I Must Be Seeing Things
To Levis's surprise, before they set out, Hairuike, the Cleric of the Church of Helm, spoke up to ask:
"Did you collect any remains from the scene?"
Levis looked at Fischer.
The Red-Robed Barbarian Mage shook his head somewhat blankly.
"Would this work?"
After thinking for a moment, Levis used a Memory Crystal sphere to project a scene recorded by a slime.
As they watched the colossal arm thrusting into the sky in the image, everyone held their breath slightly.
Its destructive power was nowhere near that of a godspawn, but its sheer size was already far beyond any normal standard.
"Is this the godspawn you mentioned? Why does it not feel like a godspawn to me? It looks more like some vile thing from the Outer Planes."
Storm Silverhand was the one who spoke.
As a bard, she was rather familiar with things like godspawn and vile creatures.
The others did not casually offer their opinions. None of them had ever seen such an existence before.
"Yes. I need it as Spellcasting Material to perform a [Prophecy]. Having a reference will allow us to obtain more useful information."
The Cleric of Helm had clearly become much more serious.
Even if it was not a godspawn, a vile thing still posed an enormous threat to the Prime Material Plane.
Protecting civilization from the perilous wilderness, subterranean monsters, and unknown threats from the Outer Planes was their natural duty.
"[Prophecy]?"
Levis was slightly puzzled. Before this, he had never encountered spells of the divination school.
Even the mage class had quite a few divination spells.
For instance, [Divination], [Otherworldly Detection], [Time Reversal], and some spell for scrying while smoking weed.
But unlike the Clerics' [Prophecy], a mage's divination spells leaned more toward investigating and seeking clues
