Background / History

Li Wei was a man from Earth who awakened inside the body of a newly hatched Silver Dragon in the Underdark. Captured by kobolds intending to cook and eat him, he escaped after consuming his eggshell, awakening draconic power and declaring the true name “Tiberius Sextus Kinu Levis.” 1

His earliest years were defined by starvation, pursuit, and isolation. He survived by consuming moss, stone, soil, metals, and subterranean creatures, gradually learning that ores and energy-rich materials aided his growth. 2 10 During his first slumber, he entered an Inheritance Dreamscape containing fragmented ancestral talents and encountered memories connected to Sylvie, a powerful Silver Dragon ancestor. 3

Li Wei eventually established Hogg Mining in Zelandia, recruiting refugees, former slaves, miners, mages, and fighters. He used knowledge from Earth and fragmented technological inheritances to introduce mining reforms, steam-powered equipment, standardized weapons, industrial research, schools, and later large-scale manufacturing. 19 28 30 39 53

After securing Zelandia against Underdark threats and negotiating with Gershon City's Drow leadership, he expanded onto the surface.
