Seeing Li Wei staring at him without moving, his expression grave, Randall did not dare keep gasping for breath. He explained at breakneck speed:
"I've taken part in this kind of trial three times in total, but every time, we appeared in a place called Solhahn.
"We generally followed the elders' experience, helping those elves resist the incursions of the human empire across the coast, before falling back to Aragorn's Tree of Life.
"But the human empire across the coast was simply too powerful, with the Demon Army aiding them, and not long after we appeared, those elves began counterattacking the coast like they'd gone mad.
"Even though we kept dying and rejoining the battlefield, the enemy forces still snowballed until they completely drowned us within barely half a month.
"I don't know whether things were the same on the Temple of Nature's side, but from the looks of it, the war in this world had clearly been going on for quite some time already.

"By your account, those Luskans not only occupied the 'divine envoys' originally meant to guard the Tree of Life, but no one knows what they're driving those bodies to do."
By this point, even Randall, who was not exactly the sharpest mind, had realized the situation was far from optimistic.
Though he did not know what the Luskans wanted, nor how the Silver Dragon before him intended to solve the problem, having arrived nearly a week late meant their chances were probably already slim.
"So when you entered the trial battlefield, there were only two hundred paladins—your God of Justice wasn't present, and you never saw the other god throughout the entire ordeal?" Li Wei pressed.
"No. There was only us." Randall answered blankly.
"Is that so..."
