Garvin, driven to despair and fury by Zelandia's destruction and by his wife Vina's self-sacrifice in becoming a Skaven, drove his Divine Kingdom, newly descended upon the world, straight down into the Lower Plane.
Then, like a comet crashing into a planet, it slammed fiercely into this secret kingdom of the dead—a legend even in this region of Coriel—setting off an unprecedented, magnificent divine war.

With a terrifying impact like heaven and earth collapsing, dense spiderweb cracks appeared at once across both the barrier of Garvin's Skaven Heaven and the Divine Kingdom barrier of the Fugue Plane, where the Dead Three resided.
Within Cavens Heaven, the Skaven sacred mountain and the Destruction Wasteland seemed to suffer an earth-shattering quake unseen in all the world. Bottomless abyssal fissures spread wildly across the land.
For a time, countless undead soldiers and believers under the Dead Three wailed as they plunged into still deeper layers of the Lower Plane.
At the same time, Skaven as countless as the eye could see poured out of Cavens Heaven like a torrential downpour, raining down toward the realm of the Death Gods below.
Yet even so, their eyes still blazed with fanaticism as they waved every manner of weapon and stared at the mountain-and-sea-like enemy ranks in the Destruction Wasteland below, screaming hysterically:

"For our Heaven, that it may not be defiled and profaned!

"It's a good day to die!!!"
