After Bulma was stopped, she felt a little awkward. She'd acted on impulse just now and hadn't been able to control herself. Now that she'd come to her senses, she hurriedly tried to make excuses.

"Ahem, I just wanted to go out and help..."

Even she didn't really believe what she was saying. Her voice grew quieter as she spoke, until it was almost inaudible.

Seeing that she couldn't get out of it by making excuses, she blurted out an apology without even knowing why.

"Wuneng, I'm really sorry. I'll definitely fix this bad habit of mine!"

After saying that, she cautiously glanced at Son Gohan, carefully watching his reaction.

"Mm, it's fine! Look at Goku!"

He hadn't taken it to heart. Now that he saw things taking another turn outside, he hurriedly called her attention to it.

"Oh no! I can't hold it in anymore!"

Son Goku had already been at his limit and couldn't keep pretending.

He hurriedly turned around and began relieving himself.

The gentlemanly Oolong stared wide-eyed as Goku turned his back and peed beneath a tree. He could hardly believe what he was seeing.

"T-this little girl is so brave! She's peeing standing up!"

Drawn over by the sight, he unknowingly moved to Son Goku's side.

But what he saw next completely shattered his composure!

"He actually has a little bird! That's what I hate most!"

His deep, hoarse, gentlemanly voice gave way to a piercing shriek!

"You're not the little girl from yesterday!"

"Damn you! How dare you trick me!"

Monster Oolong could no longer keep his cool. His eyes instantly reddened, and in a fit of rage, he shouted, "Transform!"

With a "BOMB!" and a cloud of smoke, a black-skinned, white-horned demon bull several yards tall appeared.

A thick plume of white steam drifted from his nostrils, making him look terrifying.

Bulma was also so frightened inside the house that she lost her composure. She instinctively looked at Son Gohan to see how he'd react.

Before she could say anything, the man who had been trembling in fear after their plan failed began complaining in terror.

"Hey, you're the ones who angered Lord Oolong! If he takes it out on us, you'll have to become Lord Oolong's bride!"

"That's right, that's right! You're the ones who brought Lord Oolong's wrath down on us!"

The others chimed in loudly in terror, as if they hadn't been involved in making the decision earlier!

Bulma's eyes widened.

"Hey! Who wants to become that monster's bride?!"

She felt a little aggrieved. They could've simply taken the Dragon Ball and left, but they'd kindly tried to help the village with a small problem. Now that something had gone wrong, instead of discussing how to deal with it, the villagers had immediately tried to sell them out.

"Clap, clap."

A cold smile curled at the corner of Son Gohan's mouth.

"Wonderful. Just wonderful!"

"Under oppression, you're too afraid to resist, so instead you try to oppress those weaker than yourselves. The human heart really is the most unpredictable thing!"

"In that case, you might as well keep living in fear."

"I really don't know whether saving you was the right thing to do!"

As soon as Son Gohan spoke, the villagers seemed to find an outlet for their anger.

Looking at Son Gohan, who was barely a teenager, the crowd no longer feared him the way they feared Oolong.

As their anger mounted, they all started blaming and berating Son Gohan, making it clear that they thought he and his companions were to blame for coming here.

"Lord Oolong used to come every once in a while and demand that we offer him a girl. Now you outsiders have angered him!"

"Our village is going to suffer terribly!"

Facing the accusations, Son Gohan's expression darkened, a rare sight.

"This pointless charade ends now. All of you, shut up!"

"Boom!"

Son Gohan smashed a hole in the wall on the south side with one punch, sending bricks and stones flying everywhere.

His display startled not only the many villagers inside, but even Oolong Bull Demon, who was confronting Son Goku outside the door!

After Son Gohan's outburst, the villagers watched him treat the bricks and stones like blades of grass with a single punch. They fell silent at once, too afraid to make another sound.

Son Gohan shot them a sidelong glance and snorted. Then he led the stunned Bulma out of the house and came face-to-face with Oolong.

"Hey, you're Oolong, right?"

"Yes!"

Faced with Son Gohan approaching him with such a fierce air, Oolong broke into a cold sweat under his stare and answered without thinking.

"We accepted the village's request because we'd been paid to subdue you."

"But I've changed my mind."

"I don't care whether you're evil or whether the people you bully are innocent."

"But if anyone tries to oppress me or my companions, we won't just let them walk all over us!"

"Y-yes!"

Oolong hurriedly answered, afraid that if he spoke even a moment too late, this dangerous man would finish him off.

"So, shall we talk outside?"

Son Gohan lifted his chin, signaling Oolong to follow him out of the village to talk.

"Sure!"

Oolong immediately nodded obediently, though he obviously had no intention of behaving himself.

As he agreed, his eyes began darting around, looking for a chance to turn into a rocket and escape.

"Ribut!"

Son Gohan shouted, and a pterosaur came soaring from the eastern end of the village in the blink of an eye.

"Boss!"

"Keep an eye on us. If you see a bird flying outside the village, catch it immediately."

After pointing at Oolong, he glanced again at the villagers huddled nervously together near the broken wall and doorway.

"Goku, look after Bulma. I'm going out for a while."

He beckoned for Oolong to follow, then headed out of the village without looking back.

Oolong glanced at the villagers, then at Ribut, who was staring right at him. With no other choice, he gave in and followed behind Son Gohan with his head hanging low.

After passing through the village gate that the monster Oolong had smashed earlier, Son Gohan stopped.

"Hey, your transformation is probably about to wear off, isn't it? You might as well show your real form so we can have a proper talk here."

Son Gohan gave the black bull Oolong a leisurely look and exposed his greatest secret in a single sentence!

"૮ºﻌºა Huh! How did you know?!"

To Oolong, it was like a bolt from the blue. Now that his greatest trick had been exposed, he could no longer bluff his way through.

With a "BOMB!" and a cloud of smoke, the big black bull disappeared. In his place stood a sleazy pig man wearing a military uniform.

"Mm, at least you're honest."

Son Gohan folded his arms and gave him a cool assessment.

"Big brother, we can talk this out. Ask me anything you want!"

He'd always been a coward, and now, facing a violent fellow like Son Gohan, he didn't dare let his guard down for a second.

"Such terrifying power at such a young age. I bet he'll grow up to be a demon as frightening as the Ox-King of Frybread Mountain!"
