"Training?"
After hearing Son Gohan's explanation, Ribut flapped his wings excitedly. I must train hard and strive to become as strong as my big brother!
For the first time in his half-life of aimless wandering, Ribut now had a goal worth dedicating his life to.
"Alright, you wait here for a moment. I'll go in and call the two of them out. You apologize to the young lady and clear up this misunderstanding."
Son Gohan patted Ribut's thigh and instructed him, then turned and walked towards the house behind them.
"Okay, Big Brother! I'll definitely apologize properly to that human woman!"
Ribut instinctively straightened his body and responded crisply.
"??Human...woman?"
Son Gohan was confused.
"What kind of weird name is that!"
"Uh, is something wrong? In our Dragon race, we call them female dragons. And she's a human, so isn't she a human woman?"
Ribut's large head held a small amount of confusion.
"!!!"
"When she comes out later, don't you dare say that! Otherwise, if she gets Wukong to beat you, I won't be able to stop him!"
Son Gohan scratched his head helplessly. Although Ribut's logic wasn't entirely wrong, it just felt strange somehow.
As he neared the door, he paused and decided to turn back and remind him.
"When she comes out later, just call her Miss Bulma. At least that won't be wrong."
"Okay, Boss!"
Ribut quickly nodded.
Son Gohan waved at him and entered the house.
However, the scene before him seemed a bit strange.
He saw Bulma on the floor and Wukong blankly pressing buttons on the TV remote. He understood immediately. It seemed Bulma had teased Wukong, who didn't recognize modern devices.
"Ahem, well, stop messing around for now and come out with me."
Son Gohan interrupted their play and roughly explained the incident with taming the dragon.
As Bulma listened, her eyes grew brighter.
"So we can ride a Dragon and fly in the sky!"
Although there were still small planes stored in the Hoi-Poi Capsules, what girl could refuse the chance to fly in the sky on a Dragon!
At this moment, Bulma's eyes were practically shining at Son Gohan!
"Even though this boy is still small and his clothes are unfashionable, he only made a slight move, and I feel like I'm about to fall for him!"
"This is riding a Dragon! It's the kind of treatment a Mary Sue novel protagonist gets!"
Bulma secretly glanced at Son Gohan from the corner of her eye. She had to admit that apart from his young age, this shota was completely her type.
A handsome face, outstanding martial prowess, a mature and steady aura, plus the dramatic trope of a hero saving the damsel – she was undoubtedly powerless against all of it.
"Sigh? Seriously, I thought I could eat it, but I'm hungry!"
Just as Bulma was staring at Son Gohan, lost in her fantasies, a jarring remark suddenly appeared in her ears.
Son Goku clutched his stomach and complained with some frustration.
So much Dragon meat! What was the deal with only being able to look at it and not eat it!
Bulma's veins bulged on her forehead, and her eyes seemed to spew fire.
"What's going on! They're clearly brothers, and Son Goku is the older one! How can he be so dense!"
Bulma, her fantasies shattered, was internally ranting furiously at Son Goku. If gazes could form tangible swords, he would have been stabbed countless times!
Son Gohan naturally saw all of this. He understood how infatuated a girl like Bulma, just entering puberty, could be. And having lived together for eleven years, he was even clearer about Son Goku's personality.
"No wonder Goku and Bulma went through so much together, forged a deep friendship, but ultimately didn't get married."
"Perhaps it was meeting the right person at the wrong time?"
"If only Goku had grown up earlier, if only Bulma had matured sooner..."
As he thought, Son Gohan suddenly shook his head.
"What nonsense am I thinking? I'm still waiting to hold my great-nephew. If Goku can't seize the opportunity while he's young, then I'll have to step in!"
Seeing that the two were about to confront each other again, Son Gohan had no choice but to step between them.
"It's okay, Wukong. Let's go outside, and we can have it bring back some food."
After saying that, he led the two outside.
Ribut was indeed still waiting obediently, not having slipped away while Son Gohan was inside.
"The old ancestor's methods are still the most effective!"
A flicker of understanding flashed through Son Gohan's mind.
The group stopped in front of Ribut. Bulma looked at the tall Evil Dragon before her, still a little scared. Instinctively, her body shrank back slightly behind Son Gohan.
It was a shame that Son Gohan was even shorter than her now, so she couldn't hide at all.
However, Son Gohan could understand, and he quickly offered some reassurance.
"Don't be afraid, I've already communicated with it. From now on, it will be our companion. Everyone, get acquainted."
After speaking, he gave Ribut a meaningful look.
The latter understood immediately and stood up straight again.
"Miss Bulma, I... I, Ribut the dragon, sincerely apologize for the trouble I caused you before. Please forgive me!"
It looked at Son Gohan, who was standing in front of Bulma, and chose to bury its head deeply, bowing all the way.
Bulma stared blankly at the giant dragon, whose demeanor had changed so drastically. She was so stunned she couldn't speak. It wasn't until Son Gohan nudged her subtly that she snapped back to attention.
"Um, Mr. Dragon, there's no need for such formality. After all, we got to know each other through a fight!"
She quickly bowed back to the dragon. A lady must pay attention to etiquette!
Bulma thought to herself.
"Um, Ribut, everyone has been traveling all day and is hungry. Goku needs to go out hunting, so why don't you two go get some prey?"
Seeing that the relationship had almost been mended, Goku was already clutching his stomach and looking eagerly at Ribut. Son Gohan quickly made arrangements.
Ribut had of course noticed the monkey-tailed boy who had punched it earlier. Seeing the drool at the corner of his mouth, it felt as if it would be eaten in the next second.
It timidly shook its head, as if saying it was afraid of being eaten if they went out together.
Goku didn't care about that and cheered, ready to set off with Ribut.
"Big guy, let's go!"
Ribut turned back to Son Gohan with a wronged expression.
"Don't worry, I've already told Goku. He won't eat you."
Son Gohan stepped forward a couple of paces to comfort it.
"Mhm! Gohan said I can't eat you!"
Goku nodded in agreement.
"Then, alright. Why don't we go to my Dragon Valley? There are countless wolf packs there. I always catch a few to eat when I'm hungry!"
Seeing their promises, its worried heart finally eased a little.
"Yay! Wolf meat is the best!"
Goku cheered.
