Ji Yun watched Vegeta's movements, his expression perfectly calm.
"Hmph, you miserable fool! I'll make you pay for your stupidity!"
Vegeta clenched his fists, laughing wildly inside.
His eyes were fixed on the Energy Ball he had just tossed into the air.
Suddenly, his pupils vanished, and his eyes filled with a blood-red glow.
"Gah! Hah!"
Vegeta roared, and his body began to swell.
Thick fur sprouted across his skin, two sharp fangs appeared in his mouth, and his face twisted into a terrifying, almost demonic expression.
His body kept expanding. In just a few seconds, Vegeta had grown as tall as a mountain.
Covered in black fur, Vegeta had completely transformed into a Great Ape.
"Hahaha! Do you see now? This is the true power of me, Vegeta! Prepare to die!"
Vegeta opened his enormous, cavernous mouth and spoke with undisguised glee.
As soon as he finished, he swung a powerful downward punch at Ji Yun.
Ji Yun flashed aside, nimbly dodging Vegeta's attack.
Rumble!
The enormous fist slammed into the ground, triggering a sizable earthquake.
A giant fist-shaped crater appeared in the earth.
"Oh my god! Just like Goku back then, that guy's turned into a Great Ape!"
Krillin looked terrified.
You couldn't blame him for being a coward. Back then, he had nearly died beneath Goku's feet when Goku transformed into a Great Ape.
Seeing the same thing happen again brought his buried fear crawling back to the surface.
Tien Shinhan's expression was grave, but he wasn't nearly as panicked as Krillin.
Ji Yun had astonished him too many times. For some reason, he believed Ji Yun could defeat this giant.
"Phew!"
Piccolo let out a long breath.
He had seen a giant ape before, and even now, the sight still felt oppressive.
His eyes once again drifted to Gohan.
What kind of people were the Saiyans, exactly?
"So this is what a power level of 180,000 feels like? The pressure is no joke!"
After dodging the attack, Ji Yun let out a soft breath and spoke calmly.
"Heh, the fun's only just beginning!"
Vegeta spoke confidently. As he looked at the ground he had destroyed, his proud bearing returned.
Boom, boom, boom!
As soon as he finished speaking, he brought down another four or five punches.
Mountains shattered one after another, and the clouds of dust blotted out the sky.
Ji Yun fluttered through the air like a butterfly, nimbly darting up and down and causing all of Vegeta's attacks to miss.
"Damn it! Is running away all you can do?"
Vegeta shouted, furious and humiliated.
His attacks were devastatingly powerful, but he still couldn't land a single hit on Ji Yun.
"What else am I supposed to do? I can't just stand here and let you hit me, can I? Is the mighty Saiyan Prince really this useless? Can you only hit targets that can't move?"
Ji Yun shot back without mercy.
He only had a power level of 60,000, while Vegeta now had 180,000.
And Vegeta expected him not to dodge? Did the Saiyan Prince think he was an idiot?
"Damn you! I'll show you!"
Vegeta snarled furiously. He felt like his lungs were about to burst with rage.
In his Great Ape form, he was immensely strong. He lifted a mountain peak and gripped it in his hand.
He used the mountain like a baseball bat.
Swinging it back and forth at Ji Yun, he tried to land a hit.
"That won't work."
Ji Yun was extremely fast, and Vegeta's attacks simply couldn't keep up with him.
He quickly put some distance between them and gathered ki in his hands.
"Hah!"
A Kamehameha powerful enough to destroy the Earth struck the Great Ape square in the chest.
The Great Ape didn't budge. Its fur-covered body was completely unharmed.
"Both your offense and defense are practically perfect."
Ji Yun nodded and praised him.
"Hmph, are you tickling me?"
Vegeta scoffed.
At the same time, he opened his enormous mouth and fired a devastating laser.
"The only downside is that you're too slow!"
Ji Yun shook his head and casually dodged the laser.
No wonder Vegeta would eventually abandon this move. The Great Ape's abilities were only suited for large-scale destruction.
In a one-on-one fight, they were far inferior to his normal form!
When Vegeta saw his attacks miss yet again, he panicked and began firing lasers nonstop.
But Ji Yun dodged every single one.
That made Vegeta even angrier. He leaped about in a fury, pounding his chest with both hands!
"This ends now, Vegeta. You're no match for me!"
Ji Yun floated in front of him, his voice indifferent.
"Damn you! Don't get ahead of yourself!"
Vegeta protested, unwilling to accept defeat.
He was already so powerful. If only this guy would face him head-on, how could he possibly lose?
"Fine. I'll give you a chance."
Watching Vegeta refuse to give up, Ji Yun decided to tease him a little longer.
Sure enough, the Great Ape's blood-red eyes glowed even more fiercely!
"What do you mean?"
"It's simple. You can't keep up with my speed, right? Then let's fight head-on. I'll hit you once, and you can't dodge. You hit me once, and I won't dodge either. But I get to strike first. How does that sound?"
Ji Yun smiled slightly, his eyes curving into crescents as he looked particularly sly.
Vegeta watched Ji Yun and felt a sinking sense of foreboding.
But he had no other choice. He couldn't hit Ji Yun at all, and if they kept this up, he'd eventually run out of energy and be finished.
Remembering how Ji Yun's earlier attack had left him completely unharmed, he made up his mind.
"Fine! We'll do it your way. No backing out!"
Seeing that his plan had worked, Ji Yun chuckled.
Then he raised a hand over his head. Golden energy gathered in his palm, transformed into a shining disc, and spun at tremendous speed!
"Take this—Spirit Slicer!"
Ji Yun swung his hand, and the Spirit Slicer shot from his palm.
This technique was a godlike skill in the early days. It could even cut Frieza.
To learn it, Ji Yun had spent a full twenty minutes practicing in an empty field before heading here!
Thanks to the boost from his Legendary Super Saiyan Bloodline, his understanding of martial arts far surpassed that of ordinary people.
That was why he had left home early, yet arrived at the battlefield last.

Vegeta stared fixedly at the Spirit Slicer, his eyes filled with apprehension.
He had no idea what the attack was, but it looked as though it could slice through space itself.
It gave him a sense of impending death. If it hit him, he would die!
As the Spirit Slicer drew closer, cold sweat poured down Vegeta's face. He forgot all about their agreement.
Dragging his massive body along, he leaped high into the air and frantically tried to dodge.
