After a night of talking things through.

Ji Yun finally convinced Bulma to build them a spaceship.

Raditz and Nappa's spacecraft were both completely intact.

But the project was a major undertaking and would take three days.

Ji Yun had no intention of just sitting around.

Ji Yun suddenly vanished from where he stood and appeared directly at Kami's Lookout.

It was his first time there.

"Mr. Ji Yun, may I ask what brings you here?"

A man with a dark face, thick lips, round eyes, and cloth wrapped around his head asked nervously.

The name of the man before him was famous far and wide. He was Earth's strongest fighter and a great hero who had helped protect the planet.

"Nothing much, Puar. I need to borrow your Hyperbolic Time Chamber!"

Ji Yun replied casually.

Three days was far too short.

But the Hyperbolic Time Chamber at Kami's Lookout could solve that problem perfectly.

"Hm? This..."

Puar looked shocked. He couldn't remember Ji Yun ever coming to the Lookout.

Yet Ji Yun had called him by name, which couldn't help but startle him.

"I'll have to ask Kami first."

Puar didn't dwell on the matter too much. After all, someone at Ji Yun's level was not someone he could afford to offend. But as Kami's servant, he still had to follow the proper procedure.

Ji Yun nodded calmly to show he understood.

"Let him use it. He's not a bad person!"

The elderly Kami emerged slowly from the palace, leaning on his cane.

Looking at his face, Ji Yun thought to himself, Just as I thought. He looks exactly like Piccolo!

Kami was also examining Ji Yun.

Although he didn't know what the young man before him intended to do, he had saved Earth several times.

There was no reason to deny him access to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Besides, Kami had been keeping an eye on Ji Yun. He knew a little about the conversation at the hospital that day.

After all, Piccolo would be traveling with Ji Yun soon. Helping Ji Yun was much the same as helping himself.

"Thank you," Ji Yun said politely.

Once Puar received permission, he gestured for Ji Yun to go ahead.

Ji Yun followed him deeper into the Lookout.

They soon reached the entrance to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

"Please, go on in. Each person can only enter this room for two days in their lifetime. If you stay longer than that, you won't be able to get back out. There's plenty of water and food inside."

Puar explained this to Ji Yun.

"All right, I understand. Sorry for the trouble!"

Ji Yun smiled and nodded.

Then he walked slowly into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

A vast, white space stretched out before him, its end nowhere in sight.

The chamber's gravity was ten times that of Earth.

Ji Yun was far stronger than an ordinary person, but he still found it hard to adjust at first.

He soon got used to it, though.

"Now, let's see how far I can go!"

Ji Yun muttered to himself.

He wasn't planning to stay for long.

Spending too much time in an environment like this could really damage his mind.

"Ha!"

Ji Yun roared.

Gathering all his ki, he raised his hand and unleashed a Kamehameha.

As soon as he fired it, Ji Yun hurriedly pulled back and chased after it along its path.

In no time, he appeared directly in front of the Kamehameha.

He made no attempt to defend himself and took the full force of his own attack.

"Pfft!"

Ji Yun spat out a mouthful of blood, and his powerful ki vanished in an instant.

His vision blurred. The smell of charred flesh filled the air around him.

He didn't dare delay. Trembling, he felt around and pulled out a round cloth pouch.

He took out a Senzu Bean and swallowed it immediately.

Ji Yun wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Ji Yun didn't keep going. He needed to get used to the power in his body first.

And so, after his power increased, Ji Yun kept unleashing it inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Earth-shattering beams of light, ordinary punches and kicks.

He tried out every technique he could think of.

It took a full three days before he had completely mastered the power in his body.

"All right, let's do it again!"

Ji Yun repeated the same actions he'd performed three days earlier.

He fired a Kamehameha, caught up with it, and stopped it head-on.

This time, afraid he wouldn't have time to take out a Senzu Bean, he held one in his mouth.

When he was on the verge of death, he swallowed it and sprang back to life once more.

The ki within him surged explosively again!

Just as before, he went through all his previous moves to stabilize his strength.

This time, though, it took much longer to stabilize.

Day after day, Ji Yun repeated his self-destructive training inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

Time flew by.

Half a day had passed outside.

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Ji Yun had stopped training.

It wasn't because he could no longer get stronger. Life in there was simply too dull.

His ki had grown so vast that it was impossible to calculate.

By a rough estimate, his power level was probably around eight million!

If it weren't for how long it took to stabilize his strength each time, he could have stayed in there until he was invincible.

He pushed open the door to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

After saying goodbye to Kami, he flew away from the Lookout.

He didn't go anywhere else, heading straight back to Bulma.

He didn't know how long it would be before he returned from this trip.

He made the most of the next couple of days, spending some quality time with Bulma.

At last, the three days were up.

The spaceship was ready.

After pestering King Kai relentlessly, Goku had finally learned Namek's exact location.

Bulma explained how to operate the ship.

Then the three of them boarded it.

With Bulma watching them go reluctantly, the spaceship slowly rose into the air.

It left Earth and headed into the depths of space!

Ji Yun gazed ahead with a determined expression.

"Namek, Frieza—I'm coming!"
