After saying goodbye to Nail, Goku and Piccolo followed Ji Yun and caught up with him.
"Bastard, let me go! Put me down, do you hear me?"
Vegeta shouted angrily at Ji Yun.
Being carried around like this was humiliating beyond belief.
But no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't break free of Ji Yun's grasp.
"You'd better behave, unless you want to get a beating."
Ji Yun said calmly.
He was in a very good mood. Not only had he received the system's reward, the Flash Time Skill, he had also learned Instant Transmission along the way.
Additionally, after his battle with Frieza, Ji Yun's ki had risen once again.
He could vaguely sense that his battle power had increased by a full five million or so.
In other words, Ji Yun's base battle power had now reached a whopping twenty-one million.
A short while later,
Ji Yun arrived at the spaceship. The enormous vessel still stood where they had left it.
"Bastard, what exactly are you trying to do?"
Vegeta said angrily.
After all, being at someone else's mercy felt awful.
Hearing him, Ji Yun casually let him go.
"Frieza is dead. You don't have to serve him anymore."
"I've avenged your Saiyan people for you."
Vegeta looked shocked when he heard Ji Yun. "W-what did you say? How do you know the Saiyans had a grudge against Frieza?"
"Heh." Ji Yun smiled faintly, then continued, "You don't need to worry about that. You know how to fly a spaceship, right? I need you to take Goku and Piccolo back to Earth later."
Now that Ji Yun had learned Instant Transmission, he no longer needed to take a spaceship back to Earth.
Although Instant Transmission could take several people along at once,
he had only just learned the technique, so something could easily go wrong.
If they ended up stranded in space, Ji Yun could probably survive thanks to his Legendary Super Saiyan Bloodline.
Goku and Piccolo, on the other hand, might not make it.
"Hmph. And what if I refuse?"
Vegeta snorted defiantly.
He was the mighty Saiyan Prince. How could he simply obey someone else's orders?
"That's none of my concern. As long as you can convince Piccolo and Goku, you can do whatever you like!"
Ji Yun said indifferently.
"Tch."
Vegeta looked at him with disdain.
Convince them? Easy. Just beat them up!
Like I couldn't handle two pieces of trash!
About three minutes later,
Goku and Piccolo finally arrived.
Ji Yun explained his plan to them.
Although neither of them was very keen on it, they reluctantly accepted his suggestion.
Ji Yun had originally wanted them to fly the spaceship back themselves.
But thinking back to the original story, they'd struggled even with driving a car. The idea of them flying a spaceship seemed rather unreliable.
To be safe, he'd make Vegeta the pilot.
"Oh, right, Ji Yun."
"When you fought that guy earlier, were you using the Kaio-ken?"
"How do you know that technique?"
Goku suddenly remembered and asked Ji Yun curiously.
"Huh? Oh, that."
"Yeah. When we fought, I saw you use it. It seemed pretty good, so I thought I'd try it out. I didn't expect it to work right away."
Ji Yun clearly hadn't expected Goku to ask about it.
He made up an excuse on the spot and brushed the question aside.
"You're amazing, Ji Yun! It took me ages to learn that."
"I can't believe you learned it just by watching once!"
Goku looked at Ji Yun in admiration.
He clearly believed every word.
After all, Ji Yun had become a god in his eyes, an all-powerful god!
The group chatted for a little while longer.
It was getting late, so they began making arrangements for the trip home.
"Come on, Saiyan Prince. We'll have to trouble you with this."
Piccolo gave Vegeta a cold smile.
"Sorry, I refuse!"
Vegeta said arrogantly.
He had his own pride. If Ji Yun weren't still standing nearby,
he would have already killed these two.
"Your name's Vegeta, right? Come on, we won't hurt you. You just have to take us back."
Goku clearly didn't know that Vegeta was a Saiyan too.
He hurried forward to smooth things over.
"Tch. Kakarot, you think you can hurt me with just a Low-Class Warrior and a Namekian? Keep dreaming."
Vegeta sneered contemptuously.
He had recognized Goku's identity long ago. After all, Goku looked exactly like his foolish old man.
He had no idea how that had happened.
"Oh, you know me? So you're that Saiyan! Great! I've wanted to fight you for ages!"
Goku cried out in surprise and excitement.
He had never met Vegeta before and knew nothing about him.
"Hmph. You're not worthy!"
Vegeta snorted arrogantly.
His princely status would never allow him to fight a Low-Class Warrior.
That would only dirty his hands.
"Stop wasting your breath. Someone like him just needs a good beating!"
Piccolo watched Vegeta, cracking his knuckles.
Vegeta had been so arrogant back on Earth.
Today, he deserved to be taught a lesson.
"Heh. What if you both come at me together? My strength is beyond the reach of trash like you!"
Vegeta continued arrogantly.
He clearly didn't understand his situation.
He still thought Goku and Piccolo were nothing but weaklings.
Piccolo heard this and the corners of his mouth lifted slightly.
Then he suddenly flashed in front of Vegeta.
Vegeta had never imagined Piccolo could move so fast.
He didn't even have time to react.
What followed was a thorough beating.
Before long, Vegeta lay on the ground with a bruised and battered face.
"Bastard, when did he get so strong?!"
Vegeta roared inwardly, unwilling to accept it.
But he didn't dare shout aloud.
He was afraid Piccolo would give him another beating.
"Piccolo, you went too far! What if you hurt him?"
Goku complained from the side.
The real reason was that he was upset Piccolo had moved so fast.
He'd wanted to fight Vegeta first.
"Kakarot, this is none of your business. Who do you think you are?"
Vegeta abruptly got to his feet and said furiously.
His princely pride wouldn't let him take orders from a Low-Class Warrior.
With that, he swung his fist, intending to teach Goku a lesson.
He needed to take his anger out on this clueless idiot.
"Hey!"
Ji Yun shook his head helplessly.
It seemed Vegeta still didn't understand his situation.
Goku was already itching to fight, so the two of them immediately started throwing punches.
Wham, wham, wham!
Another thorough beating.
Both of them held back.
Although Vegeta was knocked to the ground,
he had suffered only minor bruises.
