Hearing Goku's voice.
Krillin hurried over, panting. "You're okay! That's great! What about Piccolo? Didn't he come too? And what happened to that horrible guy?"
"Who's this?" Before Goku could answer, Krillin pointed at Ji Yun beside him and asked curiously.
"Hehe, I'll tell you all about it once everyone gets here!" Goku said with a grin.
Ji Yun gave Krillin a friendly once-over. At the same time, he really wanted to say, Sorry! I'll take care of your wife for you!
The person he meant was none other than Android 18, who would appear a few years from now.
He didn't care about anyone else, but 18 was the goddess of his dreams. Now that he was here, he certainly wasn't going to leave her to someone else.
Just as Ji Yun's thoughts were running wild,
Master Roshi and Bulma arrived.
Seeing that Goku was safe and sound, they both let out a slow breath of relief.
At the same time, they turned curious eyes toward Ji Yun.
Ji Yun gave them a slight smile and nodded in greeting.
"Wow, he's so handsome!"
Seeing Ji Yun's handsome face paired with his sunny smile, Bulma's heart immediately fluttered, and her infatuated side came out in full force.
"Goku, you can tell us now, right?" Krillin nudged him.
After all, they had already seen how terrifying the Saiyans were.
If they hadn't been wiped out, they would remain a constant threat, and everyone would live in fear.
"Raditz is dead. Mr. Ji Yun here took him out—and killed him with a single blow!" Goku said excitedly, pointing to Ji Yun beside him.
"Whoa!"
At Goku's words, everyone present was stunned. They all sucked in a sharp breath.
Master Roshi swallowed and stared at Ji Yun in disbelief.
He truly hadn't expected this harmless-looking young man standing before them to be so powerful.
Then Goku recounted the entire battle: how he and Piccolo had fought together, and how Ji Yun had appeared and killed Raditz in a single blow.
After hearing Goku's full account of the fight, everyone looked at Ji Yun again.
They stared at him as though he were some kind of monster.
"Mr. Ji Yun, you're incredibly strong! Goku and Piccolo couldn't beat that Saiyan together, but you killed him with one blow. How did you train?" Krillin asked, visibly excited. His tone had become extremely respectful.
"Hm? Do you have to train? Doesn't strength just increase on its own?" Ji Yun rubbed his chin and looked at them in confusion.
He was telling the truth. He'd never deliberately trained; he simply waited for the system to give him missions and boost his power with rewards.
When he had first arrived on Earth, the system had given him small tasks, like catching a bad guy or fighting a dinosaur.
But as his strength gradually grew, the system gave him fewer and fewer missions.
"Uh, well..." Krillin looked awkward. He wanted to say something, but nothing came out.
Goku scratched his head too, looking puzzled. Is that how it works? I don't think so. I've been alive all these years, and I've never seen my strength increase on its own.
Then he looked toward Master Roshi. Master Roshi might not be much of a fighter these days, but he was still Goku's teacher, and surely his knowledge was far greater.
"Master Roshi, what does Ji Yun mean? I don't understand!"
"Ah? Oh!"
"Ahem. This is probably a matter of enlightenment. Those who understand, understand. Krillin, Goku, you two still have to work harder!" Master Roshi was startled at first, then put on a calm, composed air and offered his explanation.
Hearing Master Roshi's words, Ji Yun paused for a moment, then gave him a thumbs-up. Struggling to hold back a laugh, he said, "The old master's really got it figured out!"
Master Roshi awkwardly stroked his mustache. A bead of sweat ran down his bald head. He understood perfectly well what Ji Yun had said.
The guy was obviously showing off, and Master Roshi had been forced to play along and explain it away.
Why were young people these days so shameless? He'd almost been made to look bad!
"Mr. Ji Yun, where do you live? We can take you home!" Bulma finally spoke up.
She just couldn't find a way to strike up a conversation. With a man this outstanding and powerful—and, most importantly, so damn handsome—her heart was practically leaping out of her chest!
"Uh, I don't have a home. I haven't found a place to stay yet," Ji Yun said with a wry smile, rubbing his nose.
"That's great!"
"Ah, no... I mean—"
Bulma was delighted and blurted out what she was thinking. Only afterward did she realize she'd said something wrong.
Seeing Ji Yun's surprised expression, she hurried to explain, "I mean, if you don't have anywhere to stay, you can stay with me. My house is really big!"
"Sure, then I'll be imposing on you," Ji Yun said with a slight smile, thanking her.
He'd been worrying about where to stay. He'd spent years braving the elements and had suffered quite a bit.
Seeing Bulma looking like a lovestruck fan, he couldn't bring himself to refuse, so he simply agreed.
"It's no trouble at all!" Bulma said excitedly, waving her hands when she saw Ji Yun accept.
She hadn't expected him to agree so easily, and she was suddenly overwhelmed.
She'd thought that someone so powerful would be very aloof, but he was actually quite easygoing.
Most importantly, now she could see a handsome guy every day. Maybe she could even take this hunk for herself!
Seeing that they'd talked enough, the group didn't linger there any longer.
One by one, they boarded Bulma's aircraft and flew toward Capsule Corp.
Inside the aircraft, Goku asked Ji Yun about the Saiyans.
"Ji Yun, Raditz told me I'm not from Earth, but a Saiyan. He also said that besides him, there are two other Saiyans. Is that true?"
Goku asked Ji Yun about what Raditz had told him earlier.
He figured that with Ji Yun being so powerful, he must know things they didn't.
Everyone else was curious about it too, and they all turned to look at Ji Yun.
Meeting their gazes, Ji Yun began to explain. "That's right, Goku. You are a Saiyan. What Raditz told you was true, too. Your original name is Kakarot!"
Ji Yun didn't hide anything. It wasn't a secret.
He explained everything he knew to Goku and the others.
"Yeah..." Goku's heart sank, and he lowered his head.
He looked at Gohan, who was fast asleep in his arms, and felt a little down.
After seeing Raditz's tail, he'd already suspected that he wasn't from Earth, but was one of those so-called Saiyans they were talking about.
But...
He didn't want it to be true.
As Goku sat there feeling down, Ji Yun dropped a bombshell.
"There's something else I need to tell you. Those two Saiyans will arrive on Earth in one year, and they're more than ten times stronger than Raditz!"
