Who Could He Even Complain To?

Cell was a little surprised, but not exactly shocked.

He had been eavesdropping on Ji Yun and Goku's conversation all along.

The word "future" had come up repeatedly.

That convinced Cell that Ji Yun had traveled here from the future, or had visited it at some point.

The only thing that puzzled Cell was why Ji Yun's genes weren't in his gene bank, even if he had come from the future.

"Fine. Looks like you're not that Cell."

Ji Yun said calmly.

He had just been wondering whether this Cell had traveled here from the world he had recently returned from.

But Cell's reaction made it clear that he didn't recognize Ji Yun.

That made sense. Ji Yun had already confirmed that the Cell in that world was completely dead.

He couldn't possibly cause any more trouble.

It seemed this Cell had come from another timeline—the one where Trunks had been killed.

So Ji Yun existed only in this world, and none of the main Dragon Ball events had changed because of his arrival.

"Hmph. Wherever you came from, you won't stop me from absorbing Android 18!"

Cell rose to his feet, fury blazing in his eyes.

Android 18 was right within reach. If it weren't for this man standing in his way, he would have completed his Fusion already.

"Is that so? Android 18 is right behind me."

"But if you want to touch her, you'll have to beat me first. That won't be easy!"

Ji Yun said with a faint smile, beckoning Cell over.

"Damn you! Die!"

Cell formed an Energy Ball in his hand and hurled it straight at Ji Yun.

Ji Yun saw it coming and casually batted the Energy Ball away.

"Boom!"

The Energy Ball exploded in midair.

The entire island shook from the blast.

Ji Yun's strength in his base form had already reached the limit of Super Saiyan 1.

Cell had no chance against Ji Yun unless he achieved his Perfect Form.

"Whoosh!"

The instant the Energy Ball was swatted aside, Cell shot straight toward Ji Yun.

A green fist came hurtling toward Ji Yun's head.

Cell knew Ji Yun was strong.

But he had to complete his Fusion today.

Only then could he stand at the pinnacle of the world.

"Bang!"

Another deafening crash rang out.

Ji Yun caught Cell's fist with one hand.

"Your attacks are too weak. You can't kill me like this!"

Ji Yun shook his head and said calmly.

His words only provoked Cell further.

Cell unleashed a storm of attacks.

Any one of them would have been fatal to an ordinary person.

But Ji Yun handled them with ease, completely unperturbed.

"Who is he? How can he be this strong?"

Cell began to panic.

Fear started to creep into his heart.

"Are you done? If you are, then it's my turn."

Ji Yun's expression remained calm.

But to Cell, he seemed terrifying.

It felt as though he could die at any moment.

Pfft!

Sure enough, the instant Ji Yun finished speaking, he struck like lightning.

His right fist drove straight into Cell's abdomen.

The powerful punch pierced right through Cell's body.

Purple blood instantly drenched him.

"Why... why are you so strong?"

Cell was unwilling to accept it. Blood began to trickle from the corner of his mouth.

He couldn't understand why he had been on the verge of success, only to have everything fall apart at the last moment.

"Then who could you even complain to?"

Ji Yun replied nonchalantly.

Then he put power into his right hand, and a brilliant golden light flared.

"Boom!"

Cell's body exploded.

He was reduced to dust on the spot.

"Ding! Congratulations, host, on completing the mission!"

"System reward has been issued automatically!"

The moment Cell was destroyed,

an electronically synthesized voice rang out in Ji Yun's mind. It was the system's notification.

In an instant, a strange power flowed into Ji Yun's body.

His mind suddenly grew clear.

The sensation was profound and hard to describe, beyond words.

It felt as if he could do whatever he wished.

Everything around him seemed like a blank sheet of paper, ready to be destroyed at will.

He wouldn't have to exert any effort at all.

"Is this the Destruction God's Power of Destruction? It's so profound!"

Feeling the strange power within him, Ji Yun couldn't help murmuring in amazement.

The others nearby had no idea what had changed inside Ji Yun.

They had only seen him kill Cell with one punch, and their eyes were filled with shock.

"Incredible. As expected of Mr. Ji Yun!"

Goku looked at Ji Yun with admiration.

With his own strength, he could have killed Cell too.

But he certainly couldn't have done it so effortlessly.

Sure enough, the stronger you were, the more clearly you could sense the gap between yourself and Ji Yun.

"H-he's so handsome!"

Android 18 was incredibly excited.

She felt as if she had narrowly escaped death. Especially the words:

"If you want to touch her, you'll have to beat me first."

They had her imagining all sorts of things. She had completely forgotten that Android 17 had been inside Cell and had vanished in the explosion with him.

"Phew, thank heaven. It's a good thing this gentleman was here. The Earth was spared a disaster!"

Leaning against a rock, Android 16 let out a sigh of relief and exclaimed.

"How is this possible? How can he be so strong?"

Vegeta's throat bobbed.

He could hardly believe it!

He was far stronger than Cell too, but there was no way he could have performed as impressively as Ji Yun!

He had trained and pushed himself for so long just to surpass Ji Yun.

But now...

"Impossible! I'm the strongest in this world."

"No one can surpass me. No one!"

Vegeta clenched his fists even tighter.

Then he flashed over to Ji Yun.

"What is it, Vegeta? Can't accept it?"

Ji Yun said bluntly.

He had ignored Vegeta, and now the man was acting like he owned the place?

Just looking at Vegeta's sour face made Ji Yun want to punch him.

"You bastard. Don't think you're so great just because you killed Cell."

"I could have killed him too. He was just too weak in that state, and I couldn't be bothered to kill him."

Vegeta spoke coldly.

Without saying it outright, he had already challenged Ji Yun.

"Oh, is that so..."

Ji Yun replied indifferently.

That was why Ji Yun didn't like Vegeta.

He loved showing off. Aside from bolstering his pitiful pride with words, he couldn't do anything.

For his own selfish ends, he treated everyone else's safety like a game.

That was why Ji Yun liked Trunks.

He didn't take foolish risks, and he acted decisively!

"You bastard! Still acting so high and mighty? I'll show you what I can do right now!"

Ji Yun's dismissive reply finally enraged Vegeta.

He had endured countless trials to reach the strength he had today.

Yet in Ji Yun's eyes, it was worth nothing at all!
