The Battle

"Count Arthur, are you feeling unwell?" Bishop McKinley asked David with concern.

Protected within the Knight Battle Formation, David looked somewhat agitated and excited. To Bishop McKinley, it seemed as though he had been affected by the horrific scene outside the formation.

Indeed, at David's age, even if only animals were dying, the sight of millions upon millions of them perishing before his eyes was not something an ordinary person could endure.

"The longer we drag this out, the better it is for us," Bishop McKinley explained mentally.

David looked at Bishop McKinley, somewhat baffled, but Bishop McKinley offered no further explanation.

Naturally, Bishop McKinley would not explain more. Though the two of them were using mental communication, discussing their battle plan this way could still possibly be detected by Plague God Gladstone.
