Even though the Knight Battle Formation had collapsed, the level-five Temple Knights protecting the divine artifacts still formed smaller formations of three to protect one, shielding the level-four priests and the divine artifacts within.

They all believed that Plague God Gladstone had rushed out to seize or destroy the divine artifacts, but the people of the temples were not particularly worried about that.

Not to mention that divine artifacts required recognition of an owner, and that even the priests of the five great temples could not use one another's divine artifacts, divine artifacts were also nearly impossible to destroy in this world. If Plague God Gladstone truly destroyed a divine artifact, the divine might of the five gods would descend directly.

Plague God Gladstone's first target was naturally the Shadow Servant. He ignored the knights and priests blasted away by His punch, took another step forward, and space itself seemed to crack from that step.

David's gaze tightened. His connection with the Shadow Servant was extremely close, and he immediately sensed that Plague God Gladstone's first target was actually the Shadow Servant.

With a thought, the Shadow Servant instantly vanished from its original position. David did not dare bring it back to his side, as that would draw Plague God Gladstone over.
