"Steward Jason, send people to Boyue Star to handle the aftermath. Double all compensation that should be paid!" David summoned Steward Jason as soon as he returned to the villa and gave the order.

"Did something happen at the Boyue Star mining area?" Steward Jason asked anxiously upon hearing this.

It was no wonder Steward Jason was worried. As the butler of the Luce Family, he naturally knew the family's current financial situation.

Although Arthur was already a duke, the family had very few sources of income.

The mining area on Boyue Star was the most profitable of all their properties. While the Krypton Crystal Mine produced nothing, the Purple Gold Mining Area still generated more value than all the family's other businesses combined.

"The Purple Gold Mining Area and the Black Rock Mining Area were attacked. All the miners and supervisors were killed. Send people over to collect the bodies and see whether you can recruit new miners. If not, close the mining areas for now!" David instructed casually.

His thinking differed from Steward Jason's. The income from those mines was less than a tiny fraction of what he had gained from the Dennis Family this time.

What David needed to do was compensate the dead miners and supervisors. Though they were not truly members of the Luce Family, they were still connected to it.

"Have the culprits been found?" Steward Jason asked through gritted teeth.

"I've already reported it to the Noble Affairs Office. You needn't worry about the culprits!" David could not explain things directly and could only brush him off.

"Yes, Master!" Steward Jason said with a bow.

"I'll be on Gami Star for the next few days. Contact me through the communication array if anything comes up!" David added at last.

He did not stay
