On this nameless planet, the surface continuously collapsed inward. The spatial vortex within the Divine Rune array seemed capable of devouring everything; no matter what substance approached it, it would be ground into dust.

Dexter, a level-five Temple Knight stationed on the Guardian Star, was cultivating when he suddenly sensed the energy turning violent. Even with the strength of a level-five Temple Knight, he found it difficult to smoothly guide the energy into his body.

Fortunately, Dexter was highly experienced. He forcibly interrupted his cultivation. Though this caused some backlash and meant he would be unable to cultivate for at least ten days, the damage would have been far worse if the violent energy had entered his body.

Dexter opened his eyes and immediately activated the energy detection array.

On the energy detection array, blinding red lights flashed incessantly.

"Dexter, we have a problem!" Nelson's voice, amplified by the power of his bloodline, penetrated the cultivation chamber.

Nelson was another level-five Temple Knight stationed on the Guardian Star. He had been on patrol just moments ago.

"Nelson, I nearly got hurt in the energy riot. What happened?" Dexter asked as he opened the cultivation chamber door and saw Nelson's energy avatar.

"A powerful spatial energy reaction has come from the central region of the Chaotic Starfield. Either there has been a spatial eruption, or someone is deliberately destroying space!" Nelson's energy avatar replied.

Upon hearing this, Dexter grew anxious as well.

However, without understanding the situation, he could not report it yet. The reason the two level-five Temple Knights had been stationed here was so they could handle problems themselves.
