David sensed the connection between the Emperor-Level Inheritance Pattern and the soul through the Blade Mantis King's soul. He felt that the Emperor-Level Inheritance Pattern seemed to be bound to the Blade Mantis King in some way.
What he needed to do was transfer that binding relationship to his true body. During the process, he also discovered another strand of divine consciousness.
David guessed that this was the Zerg God's divine consciousness. Through it, the Zerg God had been able to control the Emperor-Level Inheritance Pattern.
Due to the unique nature of this Death Space, David could use the authority of the Divine Artifact Space Card to completely cut off the connection between the Death Space and the outside world, making the link between the divine consciousness—which was already not in the same world—and the Zerg God even weaker.
This divine consciousness was merely one used to establish ownership. The Zerg God had probably never expected to lose the Emperor-Level Inheritance Pattern, so it had not left behind any divine consciousness capable of independent thought within it.
In fact, many gods left divine consciousnesses capable of independent thought in certain places. On one hand, such divine consciousness was extremely important to a god, and leaving too much of it outside would affect their own strength. On the other hand, even a single strand of divine consciousness could prevent ownership from being seized by a non-god-level being.
Even if a divine consciousness capable of independent thought had been left behind, however, a god-level powerhouse could easily erase it.
But the Zerg God had never imagined there would be another possibility: David possessed the gods' Talent Ability, Hypnosis. Perhaps he could not hypnotize a divine consciousness capable of independent thought, but the divine consciousness on the Emperor-Level Inheritance Pattern was another matter.
