History

Tang Chuan established the Qingdi Sect after Bai He, Yang Wudi, and Niu Gao pledged the Speed, Breaking, and Defense Clans to him. He accepted their allegiance and declared that the new sect would not privilege any core family: advancement would depend on ability, while all members were expected to place sect interests first. The sect was established around Tang Chuan's fief near the Sunset Forest, an area of more than 4,000 square kilometers bordered by mountains, plains, and the Shuangchi River. Its mountain gate was constructed by the Defense Clan, while its member families gradually relocated into the sect. 192 212
