History
Tang Chuan established the Qingdi Sect after Bai He, Yang Wudi, and Niu Gao pledged the Speed, Breaking, and Defense Clans to him. He accepted their allegiance and declared that the new sect would not privilege any core family: advancement would depend on ability, while all members were expected to place sect interests first. The Dragon Snake Family and Nine Heart Begonia Family also joined during the founding period. 160 161
The sect was established around Tang Chuan's fief near the Sunset Forest, an area of more than 4,000 square kilometers bordered by mountains, plains, and the Shuangchi River. Its mountain gate was constructed by the Defense Clan, while its member families gradually relocated into the sect. 192 212
Tang Chuan designed the sect to be financially independent through the production of soap, fragrant soap, snow sugar, and snow salt. These businesses expanded into continent-wide Evergreen Pavilion outlets, funding the sect's operations and growth. 190 196
As its forces expanded, the Qingdi Sect became a major counterweight to Martial Soul Hall and a crucial pillar for the Heaven Dou Empire. It ultimately entered the Upper Three and Lower Four Sects Selection Tournament and emerged as the foremost Upper Three Sect. 280 338 352
