In this form, Icarus appeared less conspicuous and less grotesque.
It hid within a dense forest among the mountains.
The trees here were all gigantic, dozens of meters tall.
Blended into the forest, it appeared quite unobtrusive.
Only the magical glow pulsing across its surface like breathing would suddenly illuminate the surroundings.
As though a patch of light were hidden within the woods.
The ambient mana around it surged into its body.
However, to avoid exposure, it absorbed it more discreetly this time.
Yet even though the Mana Abyss Archdemon deliberately restrained its appetite for devouring, its existence was still equivalent to a mana black hole to the surrounding mana.
Mana within several hundred kilometers rushed toward it in a frenzy.

They sometimes surged and sometimes calmed.
From an aerial view, one could see that the area where the Mana Abyss Archdemon stood below was causing continuous disturbances in mana.
Spellcasters, magical beasts, and even mana-infused metals and crystals buried deep underground within the area were all stirred by the Mana Abyss Archdemon's devouring power.
