Teacher in the Second Simulation

Du Busi first appears when Su Chen is born into the Body Sect during his second simulated life. Impressed by King Crimson and Epitaph, he immediately accepts Su Chen as his closed-door disciple and names him Young Sect Master. He personally oversees harsh physical tempering and leads the hunt for Su Chen’s first soul ring 4.

When Su Chen leaves to train independently, Du Busi supplies life-saving measures and promises retaliation against anyone who harms him. After his disciple returns as a seven-ring Soul Saint, Du Busi teaches him the Body Sect’s secondary-awakening secret and helps him achieve a gold-grade awakening 4 6.

Their relationship eventually reverses the usual flow of instruction: Su Chen selects the immortal herbs that make Du Busi a Limit Douluo, and later cultivation near the River of Time raises him to demigod status 10 16.
