Background / History

The Body Sect is a concealed protector sect of the Heaven Dou Empire. Its mountain gate is built into a remote chasm amid steep terrain and mist, with elite disciples maintaining regular guard rotations. Though small in membership, it is known for cohesion and extreme protectiveness toward its own people. 23

Its traditional doctrine centers on Body Martial Souls: rare martial souls in which part or all of the user's body becomes the martial soul. The sect pursues physical refinement and the path of “becoming a saint through the flesh,” historically dismissing Soul Tools as a weaker path dependent on external objects. 23 67

The sect considers powerful Body Martial Soul users exceptionally valuable. Most of its members awaken only a body part, such as skin, arms, eyes, or torso; a full-body martial soul is extraordinarily rare, with Du Busi previously the sect's only known example. 23 Elder Jin Peng identifies Su Chen's King Crimson as a top-tier, full-body Body Martial Soul and accepts him immediately. 24
