After awakening Life Return and gaining control over his blood, Sarutobi Toru's physical body defense had greatly improved through the Iron Body of the Six Powers. Those attacks had clearly done little to him.

Against a ninja of the same type who was far stronger than himself, attacking was like scratching an itch, while defending was simply offering himself up to be beaten. It was utterly embarrassing.

The Yuki ninja had been prepared. With a slide of his foot, he vanished in an instant.

Not only that, but the icy surface was incredibly slippery. Even "Shanks" could not adapt to it right away, and his speed dropped sharply.

Seizing the opportunity, the several ninjas immediately formed hand seals and attacked. Several ninjutsu came hurtling toward him at once.
