The Six-Tails Naruto

"Why did you take so long, Nagato?" Konan had been waiting anxiously inside the Paper Tree. The moment Nagato finally returned, she questioned him. Then she noticed how his body had changed and asked, "What happened to you?"

"I absorbed some Nine-Tails Chakra," Nagato explained casually, handing her the paper bag. "You know what's inside. Take out Katsuyu's Summoning Scroll first. Sign a contract with her now."

The bag had been made by Konan's Paper Clone. When the clone dispersed, Konan had received its memories, too. But after taking the bag, she didn't immediately reach inside. Instead, she looked at Nagato, puzzled. "You seem different..."

They had faced life and death together for decades. No change in Nagato, however slight, could escape Konan's notice. Nagato had been prepared for this.

"Do I?" Nagato shook his head, seeming unconvinced. "Maybe I've just figured a few things out. I'll explain later."

Contrary to what most people imagined, among the Akatsuki's inner circle—the trio of Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato—the quiet, reserved Konan was actually the smartest. The dimmest was Yahiko, despite being the "leader," while Nagato had once been the one with the least initiative.

That was why Akatsuki's plans had always been proposed by Yahiko, refined by Konan, and then supported unconditionally by Nagato. Unless they were in the middle of a fight, both Yahiko and Nagato would listen to Konan's advice.

It was just that Konan was so cool and reserved by nature. She didn't like to talk, and never went out of her way to show what she could do.

After Yahiko died, Akatsuki no longer had a leader who could take charge and propose plans. Nor did Konan have any plans to refine. Nagato chose to trust Obito Uchiha, while Konan had quickly realized Obito Uchiha couldn't be trusted. Their judgments were completely opposed, so Konan chose to do nothing and support Nagato unconditionally.

Her attitude, in turn, made Obito think she was a clueless little girl. In the end, he paid dearly for it and nearly got himself blown up by Konan.

Obito should have known better. Someone like Konan, who had lived through an age of war since childhood and survived the battlefield until now, was never going to be a pushover.

So Nagato had no intention of keeping his plans from Konan. He genuinely didn't have time to explain everything. "I'll tell you later. For now, I need to focus on the Pains. We're leaving Konoha soon."

Only then did Konan nod and look away, opening the paper bag in her hands.

There was quite a lot inside—not just various scrolls, but also a Sharingan, a Byakugan, the First Hokage's Necklace, and other valuable items. Any one of them would have made the great nations of the Shinobi World fight tooth and nail to get their hands on it.

Meanwhile, in Konoha, the Pains had reached the limit of their ability to suppress Naruto. To Naruto, already in his Six-Tails form, the three huge Summoning beasts—the Rhino, the Bull, and Cerberus—were no more than toys. They were completely useless against him.

The Konoha Ninja were still watching from a distance, passing along the information they saw through their Byakugan. At that moment, they thought the Pains seemed to be fighting a Tailed Beast-transformed Naruto, so it was probably best not to go up there and get themselves killed.

The Konoha Ninja waited patiently to see how things would turn out, unaware that disaster was about to strike.

The despicable transmigrator was about to make his move against them.

"Bang! Bang!"

Amid two deafening booms, Naruto slapped the Rhino and the Bull, one after the other. Both vanished in two clouds of white smoke.

The Human Path's hands were burning. The Nine-Tails Chakra's powerful corrosive force made Naruto's surface look as if it were on fire, while the Chakra pouring from him bubbled and churned like molten lava. Suddenly, the Human Path's eyes narrowed, and blood ran from the corner of his mouth. At some point, Naruto had pierced straight through his chest with Nine-Tails Chakra!

The Nine Tails' power was simply incomparable to that of an ordinary Tailed Beast. In his Three-Tails form, Naruto had killed the elite Jonin-level Kabuto in an instant with nothing but Chakra roared from his mouth. In his Four-Tails form, the corrosive force of his body had driven Orochimaru, who had attacked him with Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, to use the Orochimaru-Style Substitution Technique to escape. And now Naruto had reached the Six-Tails stage of Tailed Beast Transformation. In theory, no ordinary Kage Level ninja could stand against him.

"He can't hold out," Nagato immediately realized.

The Pains' strength couldn't compare to that of his real body. And he had taken the First Hokage's Necklace from Naruto's neck. The Pains could no longer suppress Naruto in his Six-Tails form.

"Fall back!"

The Deva Path, Naraka Path, Asura Path, and Animal Path leaped onto Yatagarasu's back.

Nagato glanced at Hinata and Shima, who had lost the ability to move not far from Naruto. He decided it was better not to gamble on whether Hinata, as in the original story, could be lucky enough to remain unharmed beside a Naruto with his tails unleashed.

As for Shima, well, if she died, she died. Toads were all bad news.

Just then, the only Pain still holding Naruto back—the Preta Path—was also smashed to pieces by a slap from the Six-Tails Naruto.

"Banshō Ten'in!"

Hinata, unconscious on the ground, was pulled up onto Yatagarasu by the Deva Path.

Stealing another man's wife right in front of him caught Naruto's attention.

"Roooar!"

Naruto had long since lost his reason. When he noticed the Pains on Yatagarasu's back in the sky, he seemed to remember how much he hated them.

So almost at once, Naruto, now a little six-tailed fox, gave chase to Yatagarasu carrying the Pains.

On all fours, Naruto ran with a speed that seemed almost demonic. His reddish-black body stretched longer as he sprinted, and two long, strange Chakra "arms" sprouted from his narrow back. He swung them fiercely at Yatagarasu in the sky.

"Boom! Boom!"

Using shared vision, the Pains saw what Naruto was about to do. Yatagarasu banked in midair and flew between Naruto's "arms." Naruto's arms slammed into the ground, triggering two tremendous explosions.

All of Konoha shuddered from Naruto's strike, as if hit by an earthquake. Everyone sucked in a sharp breath.

People might not believe it, but the Deva Path had nearly broken into a cold sweat.

The four Pains on Yatagarasu's back, Hinata, and even Tsunade in Yatagarasu's beak had almost been wiped out by Naruto in a single move.

This was no ordinary Tailed Beast.

Seeing how formidable Naruto was, Nagato's mouth twitched. He didn't want to use Planetary Devastation, so he simply had the Deva Path leap off Yatagarasu and use Banshō Ten'in to hurl a huge rock at Naruto's head, drawing his attention away.

Boom! Naruto casually fired a Tailed Beast Bomb and blasted the ten-meter-high boulder to dust.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

After the unharmed Naruto rubbed his head and started chasing the Deva Path again, Nagato used Summoning Jutsu to bring the Animal Path over.

The Animal Path then emerged from the Paper Tree, while the Asura Path stuffed Hinata into Yatagarasu's beak. At the same time, the Animal Path stepped out into the open space beyond the Paper Tree and formed Hand Seals. The Naraka Path, Asura Path, Cerberus, Yatagarasu, and even Tsunade and Hinata inside Yatagarasu's beak were all summoned out.

That left only the Deva Path in Konoha to keep Naruto occupied.

Nagato concentrated his Chakra on the Deva Path. The other three Pains carried Hinata and Tsunade into the Paper Tree, where they stood completely still. Cerberus and Yatagarasu kept watch outside the Paper Tree, guarding against any Konoha Ninja who might show up.

Once the Deva Path finished its task, Nagato could leave. And he could already have the Naraka Path revive the Human Path and the Preta Path.

Nagato thought his setup was as solid as a rock. Perhaps it was time to let the Deva Path and Naruto have a battle of styles?
