Immediately after, Nagato followed the same procedure, transplanting Obito's Sharingan into his right arm. This time, however, he kept a layer of "eyelid" over the Sharingan. Once finished, it looked as if an eye had grown on his right arm, currently kept shut.

Having gained experience from the previous Byakugan transplant, this attempt with the Sharingan went much faster and smoother.

After waiting for the wound on his right arm to heal, Nagato tried channeling chakra into the Sharingan embedded there, then activated Kamui.

On his right arm, the previously closed Sharingan suddenly "opened." Under the enhancement of Sage Mode, Kamui activated rapidly; a vortex appeared in the space surrounding Nagato's right arm, and a new space was opened.

"What is this?" Konan, standing to the side, widened her eyes in shock. Why did she feel this ability was so similar to Madara's?

The surroundings were pitch black, empty, and felt like a void.

Katsuyu, who had been resting on his shoulder, looked around and said, "Is this just the most primitive prototype of a space? Even so, it is still a remarkable ability. So, you only wanted to use this method to utilize the power of this Sharingan? Though, you couldn't do this with a Byakugan."

The Byakugan is different from the Sharingan; at this stage, it only possesses simple insight, and without connecting to the optic nerves, it wouldn't function at all.

"If it's just to increase visual range, one Byakugan is enough," Nagato replied. Inside the dimension, he tried to use Kamui for long-range attacks like Kakashi, but unfortunately, he didn't succeed. That specific usage seemed to require a connection to the optic nerves to function.

As for intangibility like Obito, that was even less possible. Neither of these abilities mattered to Nagato; it was enough that he could enter Obito's dimension. After activating Kamui again, Nagato walked out of the dimension.

"Nagato, how was the effect?" Konan asked with some urgency.

Although she hadn't understood at first why Nagato wanted her to take Kakashi's Sharingan, now that she had seen the power of this eye with her own eyes, she immediately understood its value.
