"Then we'll send someone to capture the Eight Tails during our operation in the Land of Iron," Nagato replied.

Although he didn't want to capture the Tailed Beasts too soon and risk falling out with Obito in the short term, he had no legitimate reason to oppose it under the circumstances.

He had originally supported Obito's Eye of the Moon Plan, but Nagato's plan sounded good too.
