Background / History

Di Qiu'er was raised among the soul beasts of the Star Dou Forest by Di Tian, Bi Ji, and the other fierce beasts. She calls Di Tian her uncle and initially regards the spawned Golden-Eyed Black Dragon in My World as a clansman worth sheltering and keeping as a pet. 12 26

After sharing Chen Ming's memories, she gains knowledge of forty thousand years of continental history, though she spends much of her time browsing fiction rather than organizing those memories. Chen Ming's influence also activates her Golden Dragon King Martial Soul. 13 19

When Gu Yuena's presence makes Di Qiu'er fearful, Chen Ming proposes that she replace the absent ruler as leader of the soul beast clan. Di Qiu'er initially considers herself only a lazy, weakened Auspicious Beast, but accepts the responsibility because she cannot bear to see Di Tian fall or disappoint the soul beasts who raised her. 25 26

Chen Ming subjects her to a strict training plan, limiting her snacks and steering her toward forging after she proves unsuited to delicate design and inscription work. She eventually becomes a Level 5 Blacksmith and dean of Qiuming Academy's Forging Department. 27 140
