"Come out, Luo Sanpao!"
At Yu Xiaogang's call, a blue creature with huge ears appeared before the three of them. Luo Sanpao looked like a cross between a dog and a pig.
Yu Xiaogang said, "This is my Martial Soul, Luo Sanpao."
Then Yu Xiaogang began explaining Mutated Martial Souls to Tang San and Tang Yu.
As Yu Xiaogang spoke, the system sounded in Tang Yu's mind. "Host, I'm not sure whether I should speak up, but after thinking it over, I've decided to tell you: you can help Luo Sanpao undergo a Second Awakening, allowing him to evolve into the Blue Lightning Holy Dragon!"
Tang Yu's eyes lit up. After all, Yu Xiaogang was his teacher now, and he had to help him. He immediately asked in his mind, "How do I make Luo Sanpao undergo a Second Awakening?"
"Use Thor's Hammer to draw down the strongest Lightning you can currently summon, then strike Luo Sanpao with it," the system replied.
Tang Yu paused. "Won't that kill Luo Sanpao? If I kill him, won't Teacher come after me?"
"Don't worry, Host. Do you think I'd lead you into a trap?" the system replied.
Tang Yu nodded, then turned to Yu Xiaogang. "Teacher, there's something I'd like to discuss with you. I have a way to help Luo Sanpao undergo a Second Awakening, but the process is a little extreme. Would you let me help him?"
A glimmer of hope appeared in Yu Xiaogang's eyes. He knew what a Second Awakening was, but a moment later, the hope vanished. Smiling, he shook his head. "Xiaoyu, forget it. Even if Sanpao undergoes a Second Awakening, I'm already too old to become a powerful Spirit Master."
Tang Yu looked at Yu Xiaogang and spoke with great seriousness. "Teacher, you once said that there are no useless Martial Souls in this world, only useless people. So why should someone who starts cultivating late necessarily be inferior to someone who started early?"
Yu Xiaogang paused, then smiled. "All right, Xiaoyu. Go ahead."
Tang Yu smiled and nodded. The Clear Sky Hammer appeared in his right hand. He closed his eyes, then abruptly opened them. Purple light shone in his eyes, and purple Lightning coiled around the hammer.
Yu Xiaogang's pupils contracted at the sight. The words "Mutated Martial Soul" flashed through his mind.
Tang Yu gripped the Clear Sky Hammer, and the sky suddenly darkened. A rumble thundered overhead as a streak of purple light appeared in the sky, followed by a bolt of purple Lightning crashing down.
The bolt struck the Clear Sky Hammer dead on. Tang Yu aimed it at Luo Sanpao, and the Lightning in the sky instantly changed course and slammed into him.
Luo Sanpao didn't even have time to run before the Lightning struck.
Boom!
Luo Sanpao let out a pained howl. Then his body began absorbing the Lightning's power, rapidly growing larger as his form started to transform into that of a dragon.
Roar!
A moment later, Luo Sanpao had transformed into a gigantic purple dragon. He resembled the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, but there were some differences: a golden crown sat atop his head, and the patterns on his body shone even brighter than those of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon.
Yu Xiaogang suddenly felt his Soul Power surging and immediately sat down cross-legged.
The system had already told Tang Yu that Luo Sanpao's Martial Soul was special, because it was like a summoned beast. It had also told him that once Luo Sanpao completed his Second Awakening, a tremendous power would flow back to Yu Xiaogang, remaking him and sending him soaring straight into the ranks of the Spirit Emperors!
