Arc 1The Dragon Valley Alliance

Rus Wang built the Elf Kingdom, gathered Soul Beasts from other continents, and allied with the survivors of Dragon Valley Forest against human hunters. After meeting the Light Dragon King and learning of the gods’ interest in Dragon Valley World, Rus Wang prepared the Soul Beasts to relocate while the Star Luo Empire reconsidered its expansion.

  • Rus Wang organized the Elf Kingdom and its trade and laws, then helped restore order after a Soul Master uprising before setting out to find Soul Beasts on other continents.
  • Rus Wang destroyed the Star Luo research station at Asura Eye Outpost and brought thousands of captured and displaced Soul Beasts back to the Nanshan Rainforest.
  • Rus Wang and Ximing crossed the icy fog to Dragon Valley Continent, where he attacked Prince Dai Zuoheng’s forces for hunting Soul Beasts and killed Dai Zuoheng after he threatened retaliation.
  • The Giant Mountain Golden Ape, Turquoise Dragons, and other Soul Beast leaders submitted to Rus Wang, who learned that Star Luo and Spirit Pagoda hunters were capturing their kin.
  • Rus Wang entered Dragon Valley World and met the Light Dragon King, who warned him about the gods and Star Luo expansion and taught him a spatial teleportation array.
  • Rus Wang urged the Dragon Valley Soul Beasts to move to Zheer Continent, gave them communication devices, and left Ximing to help them use the teleportation array.
  • Iyuda evolved after absorbing a giant white worm, and Rus Wang inscribed the Light Dragon King’s spatial rune array while Emperor Dai Hengyu chose to focus the Star Luo Empire on conquering human kingdoms.
Chapters 1–25 Vol. 1 Read

Ch. 1The Silver Dragon King Doesn't Know a Damn Thing About Soul Beasts

After a truck accident sent him to Douluo Planet, Rus Wang used his system-created continent to protect its Elves and build a family with a Female Water Dragon. As her age approached a ten-thousand-year tribulation, he promised to shield her from the Dragon God's schemes.

  • Rus Wang, a reincarnated human now living as a powerful Soul Beast, raised five hybrid hatchlings with his Female Water Dragon wife in the Folded Ear Continent.
  • Rus Wang checked the system panel and saw that the continent’s protective barrier would disappear in 13 hours and 7 minutes on July 29, 1994.
  • Rus Wang recalled that conflict had erupted between the Elves and the Soul Beasts who had fled to the continent, and that he had spent five years protecting the Elves.
  • Rus Wang planned to take his year-old hatchlings to an Elf city and noted that their intelligence far surpassed their mother’s.
  • Rus Wang saw that the Female Water Dragon had reached 95,200 years old and reassured her that he would protect her from the Dragon God’s schemes.

Ch. 2The Levant in the Southern Hemisphere

Rus Wang’s visit to the Levant Region showed how the protected elven villages had grown into a farming society and begun merging into larger communities. After returning to the rainforest with his family, he saw the Female Water Dragon’s age surge and rushed after her when she went into the forest alone.

  • Rus Wang decided to inspect the Levant Region with the Female Water Dragon and their five one-year-old young.
  • The elves harvested corn and prepared their fields for winter wheat, while their villages developed social classes, trade, and shared customs.
  • Osuan and Liana joined their villages through marriage, beginning a wave of village mergers and alliances that Rus Wang allowed to unfold.
  • Rus Wang returned to the lowland lake and noticed that the Female Water Dragon’s displayed age had risen sharply.
  • The Female Water Dragon left the young with Rus Wang and went into the forest, so he protected the lake and hurried after her.

Ch. 3The Heavenly Tribulation and the Arrival of a New Dragon

Rus Wang chased the Female Water Dragon into her hundred-thousand-year Heavenly Tribulation and helped her survive it. They returned to find their young protected by the Dark Night Dragon and an injured Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear, and Rus Wang and the Female Water Dragon turned their fury on the intruder.

  • Rus Wang secured the five young ones with shields and defensive magic arrays before following the Female Water Dragon, who went to face the Heavenly Tribulation alone.
  • The Female Water Dragon recalled her harsh life, her flight from human hunters, and how she came to trust Rus Wang and live among the Elves in the Nanshan Rainforest.
  • As the Heavenly Tribulation began, Rus Wang charged in despite the Female Water Dragon's pleas, and she endured most of the lightning while he took the remaining strikes.
  • Three days later, Rus Wang brought the newly ascended Female Water Dragon back to the young ones' cave, where the Dark Night Dragon had subdued a wounded Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear.
  • The Female Water Dragon and Rus Wang attacked the Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear in fury, shaking the Nanshan Rainforest and alarming the Elves in the Levant Region.

Ch. 4The King's Law

After a deadly conflict over Rock Salt exposed the dangers of letting the Elves govern themselves, Rus Wang intervened and imposed terms on the victors and survivors. He planned to summon every village alliance in the Levant Region to establish rules and prevent further bloodshed.

  • Rus Wang discovered that a large alliance had attacked a smaller one after disputes over Rock Salt prices and the mysterious deaths of more than ninety envoys and guards.
  • Rus Wang arrived to find the smaller alliance's villages burning and its survivors forced to work in the salt mine.
  • Rus Wang put out the fire, legalized the large alliance's occupation of the mine, and arranged supplies and a new village for the survivors under an elder appointed by the victors for twenty years.
  • Rus Wang warned that defying his ruling would bring divine punishment, then learned from the large alliance's elders about disorderly trade and relations across the region.
  • Rus Wang decided to summon every village alliance's elders to create explicit rules against future bloodshed.

Ch. 5The Birth of a City-State

Rus Wang convened the Levant Region’s village elders to establish common trade rules and laws, and the new river trade center grew into Temple City. As Temple City prospered, nearby village alliances imposed coercive levies on its residents, escalating tensions beyond the boundaries Rus Wang had set.

  • Rus Wang gathered elders from 439 villages at Temple Mountain and presented a balance to demonstrate how deceptive measures had caused trade disputes and bloodshed.
  • Rus Wang proposed a supervised trade center, standardized prices, and regular Temple Assemblies to establish laws and settle disputes.
  • Osuen and Liana asked the elders to treat their merged villages as one and excuse Liana’s village from future assemblies, and most elders approved.
  • On the fifth day, the elders finalized initial assembly laws and prices for salt, grain, and copper, and Rus Wang ordered them inscribed on stone tablets.
  • Inspectors, caravans, merchants, and craftsmen gathered beneath Temple Mountain, and the trade center grew into Temple City with a Merchants Assembly and police force.
  • Nearby village alliances imposed arbitrary levies on Temple City’s residents, and tensions between the city and surrounding villages intensified.

Ch. 6Violence Was the Driving Force of Change

Rus Wang warned Osuen that growing tensions among the Elf villages could lead to war while he was occupied fighting invading Ferocious Beasts. He then gathered his Soul Beast followers in Nanshan Rainforest and began a slaughter to restore the forest’s territorial order.

  • Rus Wang visited Osuen after his term as village elder ended and praised the village’s governing system.
  • Rus Wang warned that village alliances were preparing for war and told Osuen to strengthen the village’s defenses before he left to patrol against Ferocious Beasts.
  • Osuen and the current elder realized their village’s wealth could make it a target for plunder and agreed to reinforce its defenses.
  • Rus Wang and Thalassa patrolled northern Zheer Continent as fleeing Soul Beasts gathered in Nanshan Rainforest and challenged its established lords.
  • Rus Wang assembled his Soul Beast followers and ordered them to teach the newcomers the forest’s rules, beginning a slaughter to restore territorial order.

Ch. 7Rus Wang's New Rule

Rus Wang consolidated control over the Levant Region by punishing the tribes that began a devastating war and building a kingdom-wide administrative and examination system. By the chapter’s end, he reflected on Thalassa’s accelerated cultivation and watched his grown dragon children in the Nanshan Rainforest.

  • After the Levant war continued for more than a year, Rus Wang and eight giant dragons punished tens of thousands of elves from the tribes that had started it.
  • Over the next sixteen years, Rus Wang rebuilt the Levant Region, strengthened his authority, and made Ravenna the Elf Kingdom’s capital.
  • Rus Wang organized villages, towns, city-states, and provinces under a new administration and established examinations that trained potential officials and priests.
  • Rus Wang limited military recruitment to Ravenna’s citizens and kept the Soul Power Level system secret while the elves adjusted to kingdom life.
  • In the Nanshan Rainforest, Rus Wang watched his five grown children act restlessly and recalled that Thalassa’s cultivation had accelerated after elves worshipped her as a goddess.

Ch. 8An Old Joke Repeated

Thalassa worried that her five children were growing too quickly, but Xingyue reassured her that the elves posed no danger to them. Thalassa then set a plan in motion with Xingyue, Youlan, and Lingyi to corner Rus Wang, leaving him trapped in a room with the four female dragons.

  • Thalassa complained to Xingyue that her five children had reached cultivation ages above three thousand years before turning thirty.
  • Xingyue explained that the New Continent accelerated dragon growth and that elves could neither harm the children nor absorb Soul Rings.
  • Thalassa proposed putting their plan to expand the Dragon Race into action, and Xingyue admitted Rus was the only male dragon she had encountered on Folded Ear Continent.
  • Rus Wang reviewed the Elf Kingdom’s year-end report with Prime Minister Light, including its revenue, population, agriculture, and entertainment programs.
  • Lingyi summoned Rus to see a supposed cat, and he followed her to Thalassa’s room, where Xingyue, Youlan, Thalassa, and Lingyi surrounded him and meowed.

Ch. 9The Brat Causes Big Trouble (Part One)

Rus Wang raised his five dragon children alongside the Elves and began sharing knowledge about Soul Beasts and Soul Tools with trusted leaders. The chapter left Barus sneaking off with Elena to play at a waterfall, unaware that Liana had called Rus Wang to stop them.

  • Rus Wang stayed with Thalassa after their five eggs hatched and named their children Barus, Iyuda, Ilian, Bakus, and Bazel.
  • Rus Wang shared information about Soul Beasts and Soul Tools with trusted Elves, while he and Light agreed to restrict Soul Master knowledge to high-ranking officials for now.
  • Light argued that the Elf Kingdom should prepare to defend Folded Ear Continent from humans and develop Soul Tools and science.
  • Barus gathered his siblings at the waterfall and brought Elena along, despite Rus Wang's repeated objections to him taking her into Nanshan Rainforest.
  • Liana spotted Barus and Elena heading to the waterfall and used a Soul Tool to call Rus Wang.

Ch. 10The Kids Caused Big Trouble (Part 2)

Barus and Elena experimented with sharing Soul Power through a Mental Contract, discovering that it let Elena use Barus’s abilities and raised both their power without turning him into a Soul Spirit. After Rus Wang and the dragons confirmed the contract could be ended freely, they considered the method’s future use but delayed sharing it with the Elves until their civilization advanced.

  • Barus took Elena to the Nanshan Rainforest, where they entered her Sea of Consciousness and successfully shared his water-control ability.
  • Barus persuaded Elena to form a Mental Contract, and the experiment left them unconscious as a powerful surge of energy alerted Rus Wang and the other dragon children.
  • Rus Wang brought Barus and Elena to the Council Forest, where the dragons found that Elena had reached Level Twenty-Five and Barus’s cultivation had risen above five thousand years.
  • Barus and Elena ended their contract, restoring Elena to Level Nineteen and Barus to over four thousand years of cultivation.
  • Rus Wang decided the freely ended contract could eventually strengthen ties between Soul Beasts and Elves, but said they should wait until Elf civilization advanced before testing it further.
  • Rus Wang punished Barus for secretly bringing an underage Elf into the rainforest’s core, allowing him to take Elena home first before returning.

Ch. 11The Passage of Time

The Elf Kingdom consolidated and grew over generations, while Rus Wang’s children left to establish their own territory and he vowed to protect the Nanshan Rainforest from outside threats. After the kingdom endured political upheaval and Soul Master rebellions, Rus Wang evolved into the Blade Ruse King and prepared to contact the outside world to save Soul Beasts on other continents.

  • Terence became prime minister and halted expansion so the Elf Kingdom could develop its new provinces, population, and infrastructure.
  • Rus Wang’s five children left the Core Circle together to begin independent lives in their shared territory near the Outer and Mixed Circle border.
  • Rus Wang and Thalassa discussed the need to unite Soul Beasts and Elves, and Rus Wang vowed to resist anyone who threatened the Nanshan Rainforest.
  • Evans was murdered in the 109th year, and Rus Wang carried his coffin; Light later died peacefully in the 134th year.
  • A Soul Master uprising plunged the kingdom into chaos, but Osuen, Tewitz, the Grey Feather Division, and the Nanshan Rainforest Soul Beasts restored order and strengthened cooperation between Elves and Soul Beasts.
  • Rus Wang evolved into the Blade Ruse King after enduring the Nine-Nine Heavenly Tribulation in the 226th year, then decided in the 250th year to seek out Soul Beasts on other continents.

Ch. 12Encountering Humans

Rus Wang crossed the polar route to investigate the Old Continent and discovered a Star Luo Empire research station capturing Soul Beasts for the Spirit Pagoda. After the station identified him as a powerful Dragon Race Soul Beast and launched a capture operation, Rus Wang decided to destroy it on his way home.

  • Rus Wang equipped his Level 9 Soul Guidance Shield and followed Thalassa’s directions across the frozen sea to the Old Continent.
  • Rus Wang sent out his Soul Guidance Drone, spotted a human settlement, and avoided it while continuing his route.
  • At the Asura Eye Outpost, Star Luo Empire soldiers discussed capturing Soul Beasts for the Spirit Pagoda and the value of Soul Spirits.
  • The outpost detected Rus Wang’s hundred-thousand-year energy signature, and scouting Soul Tools identified him as an unfamiliar subspecies Dragon Race beast.
  • The Star Luo officials and Spirit Pagoda members began planning to capture Rus Wang, prompting him to decide to wipe out the research station.

Ch. 13Overwhelming

Rus Wang destroyed a Soul Master hunting squad and attacked the Research Station to prevent anyone from reporting his existence. He left the station in ruins, killing everyone inside and ending its commander’s plans to profit from secret trades.

  • Rus Wang approached the hunting squad and survived its barrage of Fixed Soul Cannon Shells behind his Soul Guidance Shield.
  • The squad’s Titled Douluo recognized the shield, but Rus Wang’s overwhelming pressure killed the Soul Douluo members and left the Titled Douluo to die beneath his claws.
  • Rus Wang headed for the Research Station, where he sensed captured Soul Beasts and decided to kill everyone before they could summon stronger pursuers.
  • The outpost commander complained about his low rank and recalled secretly trading captured Soul Beasts with the Spirit Pagoda.
  • Rus Wang unleashed Giant Pincer Overwhelming Strike and destroyed the Research Station, killing everyone inside.

Ch. 14Recovery

Rus Wang brought thousands of Soul Beasts back to the Folded Ear Continent and learned from his wives’ translation of a diary that Star Luo people were investigating routes to the Dragon Valley World. He planned another trip to the continent beyond the fog and agreed to take Ximing with him so she could seek out other dragons.

  • Rus Wang returned with thousands of Soul Beasts, warned them not to harm the Elves, and settled the unintelligent beasts in the Nanshan Rainforest.
  • Thalassa, Xingyue, and Zichen translated parts of the diary and found that Star Luo people were investigating spatial rifts leading to the Dragon Valley World.
  • Rus Wang considered how the Dragon Valley’s dragon souls might recognize him as a successor to the Dragon Race if he evolved into Lord of Blades Rus Wang.
  • Rus Wang decided to postpone another journey to the continent beyond the fog until next year and bring back as many Soul Beasts as he could.
  • Ximing asked to accompany Rus Wang on his next trip so she could find fellow dragons and persuade them to escape human hunters, and he agreed.

Ch. 15A Fake Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast

Rus Wang and Tingxiao headed to Ravenna to visit Barus and Elena, whose Mental Contract experiments had made Barus a so-called fake hundred-thousand-year Soul Beast. The chapter left the effects of that unusual cultivation and its possible Heavenly Tribulation still awaiting verification.

  • The Elves' expansion stalled because their small population could not develop the vast northern lands, so Rus Wang and his wives planned to stay in the Elf Kingdom.
  • Hundred-thousand-year Soul Beasts in the Nanshan Rainforest moved to Elf cities after transforming, preferring city life and partnerships with Elves to their former territories.
  • Rus Wang returned to his Ravenna manor and learned from Tingxiao that his wives had gone to check on their independent children.
  • Rus Wang invited Tingxiao to visit Barus and Elena, while Tingxiao said she wanted to see Barus, the fake hundred-thousand-year Soul Beast.
  • Barus's experiments had shown that dissolving his Mental Contract with Elena reduced his cultivation from a hundred thousand years to twenty thousand, leaving Soul Beasts eager to test whether the method could avoid or withstand Heavenly Tribulation.

Ch. 16The Sorrow of Long Life

Elena reflected on the grief of outliving her family as Rus Wang and Tingxiao visited her and Barus. Far to the south, Star Luo scouts found the Asura Eye Research Station gone and feared a powerful Soul Beast—or a distant continent ruled by Soul Beasts—was responsible.

  • Elena continued to mourn her parents and treasured the memories and keepsakes they had left behind.
  • Rus Wang and Tingxiao visited Elena, paid tribute to Osuen, and remembered how he and Liana had chosen not to pursue immortality.
  • Rus Wang confronted Barus over his research into whether a fake Soul Beast and an Elf could have offspring, while Elena watched from behind a door.
  • A Star Luo scouting team reached the Asura Eye Outpost and discovered that the entire Research Station had vanished.
  • The Star Luo and Spirit Pagoda personnel found no clues and suspected a powerful Soul Beast or an undiscovered Soul Beast continent lay beyond the southern icy fog.

Ch. 17The Ape: How Did I Become the Tall One?

Rus Wang and Ximing prepared to cross the deadly southern ice field, while Iyuda promised to grow strong enough to travel with them. In Dragon Valley Forest, the wounded Giant Mountain Golden Ape hoped that Soul Beasts from beyond the icy fog would come to their aid against human hunters.

  • Rus Wang explained the dangers of the icy fog to Ximing and prepared them for a month-long flight across it.
  • Rus Wang and Ximing rested in Iyuda’s territory, where he warned his daughter not to enter the fog until she had at least sixty thousand years of cultivation.
  • Iyuda vowed to surprise Rus Wang and planned to absorb the hundred-thousand-year Ice Silkworm she had captured.
  • Rus Wang and Ximing tied themselves together with a steel cable and flew toward the ice field and icy fog.
  • The Giant Mountain Golden Ape and his injured followers discussed how Indigenous and overseas humans were slaughtering Soul Beasts and driving them back through Dragon Valley Forest.
  • The Giant Mountain Golden Ape asked about reports of a powerful Soul Beast leading a group in the Extreme South and hoped their distant kin would come to help.

Ch. 18Civil Servants, but Elves

Rus Wang and Ximing reached Dragon Valley Continent after a difficult journey, while Thalassa quickly approved the Elf Kingdom’s annual reports. The chapter left Rus keeping watch as Ximing slept and the Elf officials continuing to govern with little direct interference from their dragon rulers.

  • Rus Wang and Ximing arrived in Dragon Valley Continent a month after the Giant Mountain Golden Ape and Turquoise Dragon had met.
  • Rus Wang set up his Soul Guidance drone and tablet to keep watch while Ximing rested.
  • Thalassa sneezed across the annual reports, and Elena helped gather them before the Permanent Secretariat resorted them.
  • Thalassa read the reports’ summaries, stamped her approval on them, and went to play mahjong with Liana.
  • The chapter explained that the Elves trusted Rus Wang as a true ruler who rarely interfered and preferred his intelligent descendants to ordinary Soul Beasts.

Ch. 19Humans: Hey, can we make peace?

Rus Wang and Ximing found Star Luo forces destroying the Dragon Valley Forest, so Rus Wang attacked while Ximing sought help from the Soul Beasts. The Giant Mountain Golden Ape rallied the hundred-thousand-year Soul Beasts to join the fight, leaving the forest’s defenders ready to strike back.

  • Rus Wang and Ximing traveled toward the Dragon Valley Forest and discussed the decline of the Heavenly Sun Dragons after their clan leader died in a Heaven’s Tribulation.
  • Rus Wang and Ximing spotted Star Luo soldiers cutting down trees and hunting Soul Beasts in the forest, and Rus Wang decided to suppress them while Ximing sought allies.
  • Rus Wang attacked Prince Dai Zuoheng’s forces with Overturning Seas, sweeping up soldiers and captured Soul Beasts, then confronted the human powerhouses with her Soul Tools and rockets.
  • The Sun-Passing Ginkgo and Turquoise Dragon sensed the battle, and the Giant Mountain Golden Ape ordered the hundred-thousand-year Soul Beasts to support Rus Wang while Yin Ji went to meet Ximing.

Ch. 20To Rule

Rus Wang defeated the human Soul Hunting Squad after Dai Zuoheng stayed behind to cover his companions' escape, then killed Dai Zuoheng and accepted the submission of the Dragon Valley Forest Soul Beasts. He ordered the survivors moved to safety and prepared to discuss matters with the forest's leaders.

  • Rus Wang fought the humans and their Soul Spirits, trapping them in raging waterspouts while the Giant Mountain Golden Ape and other Soul Beasts approached.
  • Dai Zuoheng sacrificed himself to hold Rus Wang back as Duke Libai led the surviving humans away, and Rus Wang's attack shattered Dai Zuoheng's right hand.
  • Rus Wang rescued surviving Soul Beasts and poured an Advanced Stamina Potion into a lake, restoring several of them.
  • Rus Wang learned Dai Zuoheng was Emperor Dai Luoli's sixth son and tore him to pieces after Dai Zuoheng threatened the Soul Beasts with retaliation.
  • The Giant Mountain Golden Ape and Turquoise Dragons submitted to Rus Wang, who told them to move the survivors to an undamaged Mixed Circle and take him to their meeting place.

Ch. 21Dragon Valley Forest

Rus Wang met the surviving leaders of Dragon Valley Forest and learned how Star Luo forces had expanded across the continent and hunted Soul Beasts. After hearing that the forest’s Dragon Kings had died centuries ago, he agreed to enter the Dragon Valley World and meet their ancestor, the Light Dragon King.

  • Rus Wang gathered the revived Soul Beasts and spoke with the Giant Mountain Golden Ape about the humans capturing Soul Beasts alive.
  • Ximing reassured Yin Ji that the Nanshan Rainforest offered a safer, richer home, and she gave Yin Ji a nourishing plant from Zheer Continent.
  • Rus Wang joined Yin Ji, Ximing, the Giant Mountain Golden Ape, and other leaders, then asked about the forest’s history and its missing powerful Dragon leaders.
  • Yin Ji translated the Star Luo stationmaster’s notes, revealing the empire’s expansion onto the continent and its cooperation with the Spirit Pagoda to hunt Soul Beasts.
  • The Thunder Tyrant Dragon urged Rus Wang to enter the Dragon Valley World and explain why no Dragon King had visited the Light Dragon King for over four hundred years.
  • Rus Wang agreed to meet the Light Dragon King and asked the Soul Beasts to lead him to the Dragon Valley World.

Ch. 22Meeting the Light Dragon King

Rus Wang opened the rift to the Dragon Valley World and revived the Light Dragon King by supplying ore for him to absorb. After learning about recent events on Douluo Planet, the Light Dragon King asked Rus to tell him more about herself.

  • Rus Wang stored the ore gathered by the Turquoise Dragon and Lightning Tyrannosaurus, opened the spatial rift, and entered the Dragon Valley World.
  • Rus Wang found depleted ore near the rift and dumped tens of thousands of tons of ore from her storage Soul Tool into the forest.
  • The ore turned into coal-like material as milky-white mist gathered into a conscious Dragon Cloud that Rus Wang recognized as the Light Dragon King.
  • Rus Wang introduced herself and told the Light Dragon King about the deaths of three Dragon Race members, a human's ascension to godhood, and the Sun Moon Empire's expansion.
  • The Light Dragon King said gods in the Divine Realm had schemed against him and thanked Rus Wang for saving him, then asked her to tell him about herself.

Ch. 23Self-Rescue Operation

Rus Wang told the Light Dragon King about the Elves and the growing threat to Dragon Valley World, and they planned to delay the Star Luo People while preparing the Dragons and Beast Race to escape to Zheer Continent. The Light Dragon King taught Rus Wang a spatial teleportation array, leaving him to return and connect the continents.

  • Rus Wang explained the Elves’ development and his two centuries of involvement with Dragon Valley Forest, and the Light Dragon King praised his protection of them while warning that faith power could not grant Soul Power.
  • The Light Dragon King argued that the Star Luo People’s conquest of Dragon Valley Continent was a major trend and proposed delaying them while moving Dragons and valuable Beast Race members to Zheer Continent.
  • The Light Dragon King warned Rus Wang that Fixed Soul Guidance Cannons could threaten even powerful Soul Beasts and urged him to accelerate Soul Tool research among the Elves and hundred-thousand-year Soul Beasts.
  • The Light Dragon King asked whether any Dragons had come from the Douluo Continent, then taught Rus Wang a spatial teleportation array that could transport him and five hundred Soul Beasts up to eight thousand kilometers.
  • Rus Wang left through a spatial rift, and the Light Dragon King wondered whether the Dragons on the Douluo Continent had forgotten about them.

Ch. 24Who Doesn't Use a Little Technology These Days?

Rus Wang relayed the Light Dragon King's warning, prepared the Soul Beasts to communicate and travel, and flew south to connect Dragon Valley Forest with Nanshan Rainforest. Meanwhile, the Star Luo Empire learned of its disastrous losses and Duke Libai vowed to hunt the dragon responsible.

  • Rus Wang told the Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts that the gods coveted Dragon Valley World's treasures and that they should move their tribe to Zheer Continent while delaying the Star Luo occupation.
  • Rus Wang and Ximing distributed Soul Guidance Communication Devices and taught the Soul Beasts how to use communication terminals and the space teleportation array.
  • Rus Wang told Ximing to contact him if the Soul Beasts faced a threat he could not handle, then flew south toward Zheer Continent.
  • The surviving members of the Star Luo Soul Hunting Squad reported that a powerful dragon Soul Beast had defeated them and that Prince Dai Zuoheng had died covering their retreat.
  • Duke Libai accepted responsibility for the failure and vowed to hunt the dragon, despite the major general's doubts that he could reach Level 98.

Ch. 25A Definitive Conclusion

Iyuda’s evolution into an ice-attributed Soul Beast alarmed her, but Yanjin and Rus Wang offered to help her absorb the giant worm and face her coming tribulation. Meanwhile, Emperor Dai Hengyu learned that Dai Zuoheng had died in Dragon Valley Forest and reaffirmed the Star Luo Empire’s plans for overseas expansion.

  • Yanjin learned that Iyuda had evolved after absorbing a giant white worm, changing her appearance and attribute while reaching 80,000 years of cultivation.
  • Yanjin explained that Iyuda’s Soul Core marked her as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast and promised to protect her as she absorbed the rest of the worm and approached the 100,000-year threshold.
  • Rus Wang returned from Dragon Valley Forest, praised Iyuda’s evolution, and inscribed a Spatial Teleportation Rune Array entrusted to him by the Light Dragon King.
  • Emperor Dai Hengyu learned that Dai Zuoheng had died during a Soul Hunting operation in Dragon Valley Forest, killed by a 600,000-year-old Dragon-type Soul Beast.
  • Dai Hengyu told his minister that the Star Luo Empire should treat the Soul Beast forest on the New Continent as unclaimed territory and focus on conquering local human kingdoms.
